I didn't see a thread for it, so, yeah. I'm sure some of you have seen it before, and know what it's about. If not, here.

Steven Universe is a show on Cartoon Network made by Rebecca Sugar. It is about a young kid/teenager named Steven Universe, who'd remind you of a little brother or cousin. He lives with three magical defenders of the earth, who are like aunts to him, and they go on adventures all the time. They call themselves the Crystal Gems and they'll try their best to protect the world! There's Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. And you can't forget about Steven. He has his own gem like the other three, but he's still learning how to control the powers that it gives him, with the help of the others.

The show has great artwork, the music is nice, and the plot is getting better with each episode that they put out. So far, they've done a whole season and are currently working on season two, which you can watch right here! Or on tv, your choice.
 
SU thread! Honestly this show is just so fucking good, it's a travesty it didn't get at least a nomination at the Annie Awards.
 
Honestly, I'm actually surprised it took this long for a thread of this show to pop up here. It is honestly one of the best cartoons on tv right now. It's funny, sad, mysterious, and heart wrenching at the same time. Let me tell you somthing: Miss Sugar know what she's doing.

Consider me a Steven Universe nerd (not surprising if you take my avatar into account).
 
oh man this has been my favorite show for awhile now and the current hiatus is killing me

I'm looking forward to the Second Steven Bomb coming pretty soon, and we just now know what they'll be about.

by the way, if you haven't seen this show, you should. It's probably the best cartoon I've seen in years and the plot has advanced way since it first premiered and since this thread was made. It has nice visuals, pretty music, entertaining characters main and supporting, world building elements as it goes on, different inspirational tones and themes, it's just really great.
 
Guess who just finished watching the Gem Glow DVD!

I really love the visuals in this show, and the designs are really cool as well, including the humans, Gems and Monsters! I'm currently playing catch up since I wasn't able to watch the show from the start. The one thing that makes me sad is that I've already had some stuff spoiled for me, but that's not the shows fault.

The biggest spoiler that I know is
That Garnet is a fusion

Anyway I do have cable out here so I'm hoping to catch the next episode once I catch up!
 
The show is awesome and it has gotten better with time. I've been a fan ever since the 3rd and 4th episodes aired.

At first I thought that it was a fun little series. "It's fun, maybe I should follow it" I said.

By the 7th episode I was hooked.

What is your favourite episode guys? Mine is the Mirror gem/Ocean gem two parter and or Monster buddies.

I have to agree with you on Monster Buddies and Mirror Gem/Ocean Gem I'm also really found of The Return/Jailbreak and On The Run is good too! I really love the continually in this show.
 
I love this show! I binged on the episodes in a week. :')

Fave Episodes thus far: Coach Steven, Ocean Gem, Secret Team, On the Run, Jailbreak, and Story for Steven
 
Alas, I am WAY behind...the last new episode I saw introduced Peridot.
 
That's the thing I like about the show actually, the 11 minute episodes makes it easier to watch and get through as opposed to a 30-45 minutes shows.
 
I love this show!
The first few episodes were so-so, and I found Steven annoying, although I understand that he is still a young child. It didn't take long for me to start loving it though. It has a lot of great messages, and interesting characters and concepts. You can see the characters grow and develop. My only complaint is, perhaps, that they should have gone into deeper stuff a little sooner. By deeper, I mean gem related concepts and the like. I'm not talking about it becoming "darker and edgier" faster. I just felt like the first episodes were way too silly, and if I hadn't know of certain spoilers I might have dropped the show because it didn't seem like it wanted to go somewhere.

Then again, several shows I like had a not-so-great start, too xD
 
Well I can't really remember episode titles myself xD; but I really enjoy this show, I spent a year being unsure on whether I should watch it or not and it did take me a while to catch up. But either way it's areally fun show and I haven't seen any cartoons quite like it and what it does with its characters, the developtment is very subtle and the changes are there but they're not as in your face as in other series.
 
Sworn to the Sword from the new Stevenbomb gave me my new favorite scene from the show.

Any thoughts? It may just be my wanting Lapis to have something good happen to her talking, but I think it might be a Lapis episode.

My first episode was Sworn to the Sword, I then fell in love with the series.
