OK, here's what I've been wanting to know - how many Pokemon can you store? In Gen III you had 15 boxes with 30 slots each - making for a total of 450 Pokemon. Did they add in more boxes, hopefully?

Who runs the new storage system in Shinou? Is it Bill again or a new character?

Also, Serebii said that you can't store items in PC anymore. Has your backpack gotten bigger to accomidate this or is there some other means of putting away items?

Yet another new character, and again, of course, Bill is credited as being the original developer of the system. Mizuki is her name.

As for the latter, I assume the new bag gives direct access to [wp]hammerspace[/wp], thereby making the PC obsolete.

In Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, Bill is not referred to as the original developer, but as co-developer. I assume that this is the difference between Mizuki and Lanette.

But what does Mizuki bring to the table other than three additional boxes? The storage system had very clearly improved in Gold and Silver, but Ruby and Sapphire brought us three years back in time and overhauled the system so that those modifications and beyond were already in place then.

I am afraid that my question is a rhetorical one, since I have heard of no upgrades to the system. Mizuki is just responsible of operating the system in Shin'ou, but does know Bill well enough to have received an Eevee from him, which she later grants to the player.

You can compare Pokemon side by side. Stats, etc.

I find it to be very useful since I catch lots of extras of Pokemon I have already.

So 90 additional Pokemon storage spots, making for a total of 540? Not bad. I was hoping for a bit more for the sake of breeding fanatics, but at least it gives you a box for every type (finally) as well as another for water - which really needed two.

I hope Battle Revolution will have Pokemon Box features built right into it . . .
