Has anybody taken notice that when waling in tall grass, Pokemon of all sizes appear. If the Pokemon appear spontaneously, then how does this work with Pokemon that are bigger than tall grass, say, Machamp? Wouldn't you take notice before walking in grass?

machoke i could see being strange, or the legendary birds when they wander in platinum, :D. i dont know how you wouldnt see a huge bird in some grass, lol.

Yeah because in the grass you can find zapdos, articuno and moltres, as well as tropius. Its not exactly like they can put some twigs over themselves and hide is it?

As far as i can tell the long grass could be any length, but it is drawn as fairly short so on the first games you could see your character. Its just a game mechanic, in some rpg's you get giant creatures appearing in random battles out of nowhere like ff7 for example

Even stranger, if the grass was large enough to house something like a Tropius, then wouldn't people mow it down if it was close to town?

alright then, if its possible to convert matter (pokemon) into energy (in a pokeball), why do all new poketrainers have to walk everywhere? surely teleporting people cant be much harder than pokemon.

trying to poke holes in the cannon of a fanatasy series is like trying to poke holes in a net :D

Or it's like trying to explain cartoon logic, lol, how say they catch on fire and then the next minute it was like nothing happened to them! :D

Dude, come on. This is definitely not even close to being the most unrealistic thing in the Pokemon games. There's random encounters in a lot of RPG's.

Well, with some of them I could assume they are actually just flying over the tall grass.
With others I could assume that they are hidden underground, behind a hill or behind a boulder.

Also, why is it that ledges are jump able, yet not climbable? If you can jump the ledges without injury, then it shouldn't be high at all.

well, it could be a six foot ledge and they are only 5'6"

How is it that tiny little pokemon can carry you by Surfing? Or how can some pokemon use Surf to begin with? I'm not riding on a Rhyorn just to cross some puddles...

On that note, what about the pokemon that can fly, bur are able to fit in your hand? Or digging? Diglett is small but can somehow dig you out of the middle of a mountain.

On Diglett, haven't you seen that one Photo with Dugtrio?

And How does Flash Work? Does the pokemon suddenly defy physics to make the darkness go away? It just doesn't work...

Well, in the case of Dig, the Pokémon doesn't carry you, it just digs a tunnel so you can't escape out of the cave.

LOL. I was talking about that to my friend today. He said it was reaaaalllyyy weird.
Anyway, it folds.

I sure hope it doesn't collapse while riding.

But to be more specific, when hacking, you can get 999 of everything. Explain that.
