what if instead as pikachu meowth was the mascot and we would have a talking pikachu instead of meowth.meowth would be good and pikchu is bad. this is strange but cool to me
 
Nah Jessie and James would be the good guys and Ash and his friends would be the bad guys ;P
 
That... would be really, really weird.
 
Would that mean Silver would become a bad guy because of not following his father's steps?

It would be REALLY weird. OH DEAR GOD RED WITH A PERSIAN HOLDING MOON BALL!
 
Now that would be weird, considering the fact that Ash is the main character of the series.

Well I could always place James as a middle classed trainer and Jessie as a coordinator (one who's way better than Dawn btw) and Meowth being the pokemon that's out of it's ball along with Wobbuffet


Jessie: Oh great what do they want this time
James: Don't bother us we're almost to Viridian City so I can get my final gym badge and complete the Pokemon League
Meowth: Meowth!
Jessie: Yeah you brats are making me upset after I won the Grande Festival!
Meowth: Meowth Meowth!

If things were the other way around, who would be the main character, James? Plus we'd never really get to see a new girl every generation cause of Jessie. Also, how would meowth live up to Pikachus strengths?
 
while the idea sounds ... orignal I can't see how Meowth would make team trewps blast off
 
meowth would be like the tyson's mewoth who beat ash , it knew thunder bolt,slash,iron tail,fury swipes,and double team
 
it would have the strength as tyson's meowth it knew, iron tail, thunderbolt, double team, slash, and fury swipes.
