Lately, well, it started today (I don't know how to get a picture) when I go to a new page on the forums, such as the index, at the top of it will be this

Top of a forum page said:
Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in [path]/includes/class_mail.php on line 641

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to tcp://mail.bmgf.bulbagarden.net:25 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known) in [path]/includes/class_mail.php on line 641

But, everything below it is normal, nothing wrong with the page or anything. I would get a picture if I knew how, but, I don't.
So far, this has happened to me on the Index, and the Roleplaying forum section.

EDITL I got it again, this time, even longer...

EDIT2: It seems I'm only getting on the Index now, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I got there too.

I got that too, but I only got it once. I wasn't really that bothered about it at the time. You've made me think something bad's happened. o_o

I keep getting that when I log into the main page as well.

it happened to me when I scrolled through the Fun and Games section... wasn't it explained a while back as of why it does that?

That's very odd. I'm not getting it here. Probably nothing to worry about though, unless it stops you accessing the forums at all. More than likely a lingering thing from our backend server modifications recently, since the database is in a different spot to where it used to be.

It looks like it definitely has something to do with email. I see port 25 listed and that deals with the SMTP protocol. Are you subscribed to any threads and notified by email or something? I've never subscribed to threads so I don't know if it sends you an email or not. Or do you know of anything else besides new PMs that you're notified by email? But it definitely looks like an email issue here to me, especially since class_mail.php is listed on there. It seems as though it's having a problem resolving a name or address.

Yeah I've just had that happen too. I'll get a screenshot up if you want.

Um, no, I've never subscribed to a thread, and I only get e-mails when I get a new PM.

Done some research. Can be verification e-mail error or OpenSSL error. OpenSSL info here.

Or as Sephy said, like here.

Ah crap, I think I know what that's related to. The attempted fix of the missing emails I put in earlier. *sigh* Let me fix that...

EDIT: Alright, should be fixed now. Let me know if anything else happens.

It was working fine, with no problems with it or anything, it never poped up, until just now.

That has been happening on my desktop computer, but everything seems to be fine now.

Edit: Here's what it says now.

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to tcp://mail.bulbagarden.net:25 (Connection refused) in [path]/includes/class_mail.php on line 641
