So I currently have 2 GBA SP's and am playing through the gen 3 games.
I am currently looking into buying 2 DS lites to play through the gen 4-5 games, after which I will buy two 3DS's to play gen 6.
The intention of this is to raise teams of pokemon and serially trade my pokemon up all the way to gen 6 without reraising the same pokemon. So I will have many high level guys,
(example, right now I already have level 60+ Aggron, Gardevior, Magneton, Dragonite... etc, I don't want to raise multiple dragonites, too much time involved)
So, if anyone has a more cost effective strategy for doing this, I would be interested.
Note: I want the ability to trade within a generation for the XP boost and also my wife plays the games too so I need two systems at any given time
