The day I create a shipping thread was the day I thought I would smack myself, but this is pretty hard to let go.

StrikingIceShipping is the ship for Lorelei and Bruno of the Kanto Elite Four. Founded by me, and name thought of by Vycksta. Anyway, I don't really want to start things out strong here, but I really do like ship, especially with hints from Special and in the games.

And btw, here's the scan of Special:

Which could be taken as a major hint if used out of context, she was actually asking who he liked better between Red and Blue in the finals. I know, it isn't really much of a hint.

Hints, shmints... I've started two threads on nevermets that got at least around 5 replies each.

I never had thought of this shipping. It's kind of interesting.
 
I found more hints in the Yellow chapter. Looking for scans... I hope this doesn't count as a nevermet, I know the Special had the *majority* (If there are any) hints.

The sad thing is I have to pionner new frontiers for fanart here. *sigh* I hope it'll catch on...

EDIT: Okay, does VthisV scan count as hint? It's Lorelei's weird, smart alec way of complimenting Bruno's muscles... :sweatlol: Again, thanks Nicoleb for the scans.

Well, it could, possibly, maybe, be a hint. She does seem to check him out a little when sitting on that rock. It's still very thin, but it's a start...
 
That's what I like here. Lorelei's personality and "playfulness" if you want to call it that, coupled with Bruno's innocence... I mean, the guy has like 50 pounds of muscle and STILL was unwilling to join the E4. Agatha had to use mind-controlling powers to get him to join. The fact that Lori doesn't give crap makes it sound like she's just a jack*ss, but I guess you have to keep an open mind with this. It's like Pika and Cookie, I would guess.
EDIT: Or Galactic ships. I guess you could call them both "creepy-ish", anyway I get the same vibe from both, know what I mean?

We can just hope it doesn't turn into a second PikaTheft thread.

I mean, can you imagine the amount of shippiness created by placing PNG Sugimori or Mato art next to each other and adding tint and peace signs???

2nd EDIT: Okay, I knew I was missing something with that yellow hint. The previous page. Lorelei had been sitting on the rock for a while, and just until after the training she let him know she was there. *Waaaay more shippy* I attatched both again below.

But thank you for reviving my thread, I was too lazy to make another project. Will soon, however.
 
Ah, now I noticed it as an attachment a few postings earlier. Good luck with creating more then.
 
Yeah, they seem easy enough, right? But ti takes forever to cut out just the parts you want so they overlap "PNG" style while using Paint. Picnik is the fun part.
 
I'm running out of manga scans... =( I refuse to go as low as to use anime screenshots...

I found only one new pic to use of Shiba, however, stupid Brawly's in the way...

I cannot believe no one named this ship earlier. I admit I might have used it once or twice in older fic, but I never gave it serious thought, probably because I was pretty sure Lorelei was into Clair or Misty...

But now that I'm crawling back onto the het bandwagon, this might have potential.
