Stuck in Ilex Forest 'cause Farfetch'd - Help

Hi.

I´m in Ilex Forest and now you must chase 2 Farfetch´d.

The first one was easy. But the second is hard as hell (1 hour and 10 minutes trying to chase it without success).

Is like being in a square with only a exit in the south. But the bird is all time going to the 4 squares, no matter where I make him to look.

Anyone knows how to resolve this puzzle?

Are you "talking" to him from the correct side? If you want him to go left, click the A button on the bird's right. I think that's how it worked.

lol I shot the farfetched and the old man gave me a charcoal that's how it works

I'm not acually playing until Spring, but I'd think you could block it off with the Pokemon following you, due to the way you described it. Is that... doable?
