Anyone got a stupid fear that they want to share?

I've always been scared to death of crash test dummies, ever since being hugged by one at a state fair when I was three. Don't ask why... they just scare the bejeezus out of me.

Okay, I've let mine out. Now who wants to share next?

There's one particular sort of bug I'm so scared of that I'll basically go into a panic attack if I even see a picture of it. I'm not going to say what bug it is because if I did someone would just show me a picture of it and think it was funny.

I used to have an irrational fear of hugs, but that was a gimmick more than anything.

I can't really think of anything else stupid except me always running away from someone. :[

I'm absolutely terrified of bees, wasps, and hornets for no good reason. And also of getting constructive criticism for like fanfics and stuff, though I'm trying to get over that. Oddly I'm not scared of flames at all, but if I get concrit I'll be shaking like a leaf for the rest of the day.

I have phobias related to spiders, needles, and heights. I don't have a fear of flying, but I have a terrible fear of falling off a high building.

My fears? Bugs (like...oh...all but a select few that I can KIND OF tolerate). Weird fear of heights, although I just refer to it as a fear of falling as it's only when I'm in a position to easily fall (i.e. ladders) that it really pops up. And there are other things, but it may just be paranoia, and not an actual fear.

The most stupidest of my fears is phones.
Yes, phones.

You see if I don't know the person on the other end I end up getting really flustered, start really mixing up words and saying them awkwardly and in some cases even agreed to do something when I didn't mean to as "Yes" was the quickest way to get rid of them. I have no idea why I have this huge fear of talking on a phone to people I don't know, it's why I try and actively avoid the phone at work if I can, luckily I'm in a position in the shop where I can't answer it most of the time XD

Another one of my fears is Spiders, can't stand the things, the teeny, tiny ones I don't seem to mind so much, it's if they're any bigger than that ~_~

Ok, those old 1-900 and 976 numbers and helicopters hovering over my house.

My greatest fear is waking up in a strange place and not knowing how I got there.

Dont worry, my fear in phones is to the point where I've only talked less than 10 times in my entire life, although I'm getting a little better. But I'm afraid to even talk to my mother. I dont know why though...
My biggest fear, the one that I could die of a heartattack from, is spiderwebs. Not the spiders (I actually like them) but the webs. I cant describe how much I fear them. And I'm only afraid of certain spiders if they look like they're about to shoot a web out of their butt. One time I picked one up and a web shot out and I freaked out.
But I can touch single strands, as long as they're thin, dusty and I can see them.

i'm phobic of all bugs and spiders. i don't care how rare it is, if a gigantic butterfly lands on me i'ma freak out and smush it.

I hate bugs! My greatest fear is spiders.

I'm scared of dogs. >_<; But I like them! That's why it's so horrible. Everyone thinks I hate dogs, but I'm really just scared of getting attacked/bitten by one. When there's a dog running towards me, I totally freak out.

That was my childhood fear. I felt the same way.
Now that I look at it, I have a lot of fears.

I'm not a big dog fan either. I also don't like tornados...it once got to the point where I couldn't sleep at night if there was any wind, even if the chances of a tornado forming were very small.

I also don't like those ground wasps or whatever they are (hugeass black insects with white stripes and red wings).

I'm a bit scared of dogs. Just of big dogs.

I have a fear of not being accepted, also a mild fear of clowns and roller coasters *Although I've almost over come my last two*.

People scared of dogs, would this guy scare you? http://www.quelorant.com/BunnyNose.jpg (seriously, I'm curious, this is our dog Cookie)

As far as myself, I have a very bad fear of losing my friends. It's happened so much. I've literally had my best friend just cut off all contact with no explanation. Still don't have one. And thus I'm very fearful of losing my friends. Though that's not really a stupid fear...

When I was 6, I got stung by a bunch of wasps (around my ankle) and now I hate anything that stings. I'm horribly afraid of wasps, bell hornets, yellow jackets, etc, but I don't mind bees any. Actually, I like those carpenter bees (they don't sting, they bite, and they're enormous compared to like honey bees).

Um... from time to time I randomly get afraid of the dark for a day or two, usually after reading something like UFO stuff or something. Don't know why, but I do.

I'm also pretty afraid of social situations, even stuff as simple as saying "good morning" to someone passing them by. I go out of my way to avoid such things if I can.

I can't think of anything else right now, but if I do, I shall mention it.

I'm afraid of getting shots. I used to run out of the room (and occasionally out of the building) when I'd have to get them as a kid.

Of course, then something happened to actually foster my fear, but that was after having this phobia for years. I got a flu shot and it didn't go in right, so now my arm hurts around the injection point. This was a few years ago, and sometimes it makes my whole left arm unusable for a few hours.

They were going to do tests, but it would require needles, and so I decided against it, given that a needle in my arm was what caused it in the first place.

I used to have a fear of needles as well. Was SUPPOSED to have surgery to reset a broken arm because it wasn't healing right. After about 15 tries at starting an IV (3 needles in your skin at once is NOT a good feeling, especially when they're just...THERE with no one taking them out), they eventually called it quits (this was third grade). Used to be EXTREMELY afraid of needles after that...but then, in seventh grade, they took blood to run some standard tests, and I couldn't even feel the needle go in (of course...I could feel it coming OUT...which is the most disturbing feeling in the world), so now I just...don't like them. And I take any opportunity I can to tell that story. Why? Because I can.
