Stupidest Evolutions

Have you ever seen a Pokemon evolve, thinking it would turn into something cool, but have it turn out to be either a piece of crap, or recycled? Toss in your 2 paragraphs about dumb Pokemon evolutions. Like, for example, Slugma-->Magcargo. Wow, you got a shell, we're SO impressed.
 
Grimer -> Muk, and all other "O look mai face changed and Ai Gawt bigger!!!!11"

Evolutions.

Also Yanmega, Rhyperior, Electivire, Probopass, and Magmortar.

I don't care how good their stats may or may not be, I think they look ridiculous.
 
I got over the ridiculousness of Magmortar, Electivire, Magnezone, and Rhyperior, but Tangrowth is another story. I hate that Pokemon so much, and Tangela wasn't even good enough for an evolution.

I actually think Yanmega is pretty awesome. Probopass is pretty lame as well. Most of the continuing evolutions of Gen. IV are really stupid.
 
Probopass, the moustache was weird, and the added steel type made it suck.
Magnezone: Like wtf happened to the middle eye, did it get an infection? I'm used to it now tough.
Porygon-Z: Like wtf wtf wtf wtf. Porygon ->porygon2 was an update of porygon2, being lighter and all. Porygon2 ->porygon-Z is a downgrade, a glitched defect version. That's no evolution, it's the opposite.
Rypherior: He's just... weird.
Belossom: A stinky flower truning into a hula dancing pokémon? Yeah right.
Froslass: It's no Glalie. 'Nuff said
Gallade: A dancer truning into a swords fighter. Not like that's ever gonna happen.


And what do people have against magmortar and lickilicky? Magmortar looks lot alike with magmar, and lickilicky is like a perfect evo for lickitung.

Why is that so strange? A stinky flower evolving into a beatiful flower? I don't see the problem there. If you're honestly going to throw a fit about it, you better add Gyarados and Kairyu to that list too. A carp evolving into a raging sea monster? An elegant sea serpent evolving into a fat cartoony dragon?

Also Magnezone.

Glameow -> Purugly pissed me off!!!! I never even evolved my Glameow. They could have made a cute evolution for it.

Same goes for Skitty- Never evolved mine.
 
Let's see:

1. Muk-Ooooh, Grimer got bigger and angrier...let's celebrate!

2. Marshtomp/Swampert-So bland looking in my opinion

3. Infernape-To be fair, I hate the entire Chimchar line

4. Bibarel-I thought Slobro was supposed to be the slow witted one...

5. Garchomp-I think Gabite looks cooler

6. Bronzong-I just think it looks ugly and uninspired

7. Wevile-Don't like the thing on it's head and neck, makes him look like a jester...they just

8. Magnezone-No...just....no

9. Rhyperior-Does he have to be so...round? It also needs a neck

10. Tangrowth-Tangela deserved a better evolution

11. Electivire-They screwed Electabuzz over on this one

12. Magmortar-They screwed Magmar over on this one...and does he have to be so round?

13. Togekiss-Look at it. It's head is it's body. Would it have killed them to give it a neck?

14. Mamoswine-Piloswine looked good. Mamoswine just looks like a satarized woolly mammoth...then

15. Porygon-Z-Well, they just screwed over Porygon2 (it's happening to alot of Pokemon lately)

16. Probopass-That mustache looks like nose hair, and given it's inspiration....ewww

17. Froslass-I just don't like her design. Also, I think Glalie deserved an actual evolution, not a split one

Remoraid > Octillery.

FISH > OCTOPUS. WAT. I have no idea how that actually works. I'd be pretty freaked out if I were a fish and suddenly started sprouting tentacles. >__>

Probopass. Srsly, why? I'm also not fussed on Magnezone's design, though I like the idea of Magneton evolving.
 
Agreed about remoraid and octillery. It's like they took two random water pokemon and decided to link them in evolution for no reason at all.

I've always preferred misdreavus to mismagius. I never evolve mine and I think it would have been better to keep it as a single-stage pokemon.

Another one that bothers me is clamperl. I don't understand what an oyster has to do with eel-like fish.
 
Developers: Wouldn't it be awesome if fish and Octopus were the same kind of creature?!

That's a good point on the Clamperl thing, it's another case of grabbing two completely unrelated water organisms and linking them for no good reason.

Although, at least you have to have a special item equipped. >__>; Maybe it gives off mutating radiation, or reacts with the thing's DNA or something...

Probopass, Electivire, Rhyperior, Tangrowth, Magmortar, Magnezone, and Lickilicky. 8| I actually hate most of GEN IV as a whole except for a few select favorites but yeah. I saw those evolutions and went to lolwhut?Land.
 
Poliwrath- What the fuck is this? A SLIGHTLY bigger Poliwhirl that's pissed off 24/7?

Dugtrio- Did Diglett call over some friends that never leave? Fuck, at least Magneton makes some sense.

Dusclops- Looks like it's about to go a on a grope-spree.

Floatzel- JUST WHEN I THOUGH BUIZEL COULDN'T GE ANY FAGGIER.

Ambipom- It just looks retarded.

Purugly- Fat piece of shit, no thanks.

Garchomp- I don't care how good it is in battle, it looks like something a 9 year old would think up.

Magnezone- Looks like a toy made for 4 year olds.

Lickilicky- Same reason I dislike Purugly, it's way to fat. It doesn't exactly look too intelligent, either...

Rhyperior- I don't think I need to explain, just look at it.

Magmortar- See above.

Why are the evolutions stupid if they are terrific competitievly? (ie Garchomp, Magnezone, Yanmega, Ambipom). Why do you only care about Looks? Thats not what the game is about.

Dusknoir is a carbon copy of Dusclops. They are quite literaly almost the same. The only difference is five points and an attack boost. it is a waste of time.
