Well, this is to see if you have a favored style of drawing, or if you just draw them as they're supposed to look. ^^

I do have a favored style of drawing for when I draw humans. They often have large eyes (eye attached) and are 3 heads tall. The hands are really weird, and they wear some baggy pants. That, and they're very, very skinny. ^^

As for other things, like Pokemon or some of the Yu-Gi-Oh monsters, I make small modifications to them, mainly in the eyes.

What about you? Do you have some sort of preferred style of drawing, or not? ^^;;

Personally, I always had the need to make my drawings like the characters are suposed to look. But lately I'm begining to feel identified with the pokémon animé style of drawing. So basically I draw like that. ^^

Just as an example... take a look at the attachment:

Ohhh, I have so many different styles!

I used to draw straight from scenes from the anime, and once I got familiar with drawing the characters I started drawing them in different poses and stuff. However, after 3 years of drawing in nothing but the anime style, I started using manga style, realism, chibi style, and styles of mine that don't have names, too.

Now, I can draw the characters any way I feel like drawing them. It all depends what mood I'm in. I'm very free with the way I draw, especially when it comes to drawing Pikachus. Last I checked, I had over 7,000 styles of drawing Pikachu. ^^;;; Wayyy too much time on my hands.

Ummm...I don't have an example on this computer. Oh well. I'm planning on scanning some stuff in and posting it in FanArt later.

Oh, wait! Yes I do have an example on this computer! Here's a little Pikachu I did in MS Paint in approximately 5 minutes...
