The Shiny Hunters are a bunch of poachers who specifically hunt for Shiny Pokemon, some have their own agenda to sell them to the Black Market, or to poach them for their furs. Others believe the Shinies, as they call them have a secret Pokemon that can only be harnessed by a strong bond between the Pokemon and their trainer.
This particular group of Shiny Hunters want to do exactly that, steal shiny Pokemon and extract this power, to find out what makes them so Unique compared to other Pokemon of their own kind, to see if this secret really exists and use it to take over the world.
The Shiny Hunters also have a secret device that allows them to track any shiny Pokemon from any area, trainer or even pokeball. No shinies are safe and a double crosser is determined to save them all.
This is where you come in. A group of trainers, holding shinies are sent a letter by a woman named Agent Katherine Ferguson, a federal agent who went undercover to the Shiny Hunters group to find out what they want after a string of stolen Shinies were reported, however they found out months later that she was a double crosser. She told them she was an corrupt ex-cop working against the Federal Agents. She managed to snag an Shiny Pokemon, that had a tracker on it and use it to find the other Shinies, because this tracker could also allow her to access their device and find the other shinies, only they don't know she did this.
These group of trainers Agent Ferguson sends a letter to hold a shiny or a party of Shinies themselves, and all of them are in grave danger because the Hunters are closing onto them. Scouring Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Unova and many other places Katherine tells them to meet her in a secret meeting place underground, underneath the Sinnoh Pokemon League.
You will be the force that fights against the Shiny Hunters, that will fight to save the other shinies and hopefully stop their plan on taking over the world, and taking down the mastermind of it all, a Shiny Hunter named Mia Faye.
The good news is the Shiny Hunters have yet to discover how to make the Pokemon bend to their own will, so you have time to fight but they are on a breakthrough in finding out. Along the way you will also discover if the myth about the Shiny Legends, sought out after but believed to be a myth all but the Shiny Hunters believe it does not exist, are they real or are they myth.
So I think you get the point of this story. You are a trainer who has a shiny Pokemon or a party of them (Yes, this will be a RP where you are allowed to have more then one). Of course if you do not wish to have a Shiny Pokemon (Even one), then you can still sign up and you will instead get a letter explaining you were chosen for your strength and courage, because the FBI are monitoring you (But for a good cause this time).
You may be a Shiny Hunter as well, but there is about 2-3 other Shiny Hunters in this group (Unless more wants to be one). Mia is already mine though.

Personality: Katherine is a kind person who tries to help the people she can find, lately Katherine has felt lost but tries not to lose her identity, in battle Katherine is a fair fighter and usually knows her move, as an FBI Agent Katherine is fierce and can play bad cop if she really needs to, she is always determined to solve the case.
History: Katherine was born in Sinnoh and was born to two parents she knows nothing about, they left her in an basket at the orphanage and instead Katherine was adopted by a gay couple, Kate and Stephanie Ferguson. They raised Katherine who at first wanted to be a Pokemon trainer, she studied through into her teen years before they moved to Hoenn and Katherine decided to go on a journey. She already had a Pokemon which happened to be her parents pet Chatot, who wanted to go with her.
Heading to a lab she got her starter Pokemon Mudkip, and went on a journey through Hoenn fighting gyms, she caught Mightyena, Buneary and Koffing along the way. However once she got her final badge Katherine decided to stop her Pokemon journey and wanted to be an FBI Agent.
She went back to school and studied until she was accepted into a Police Academy which she passed at nineteen and became a rookie cop. Katherine rose through her ranks, obtaining an Lilligant along the way before at the age of twenty seven, Katherine became a FBI Agent.
She was known as one of the best and fought criminals, throwing them in jail and knew what she was doing, in her spare time she also trained her Pokemon to be the best, her Chatot and Mightyena were often used to stop criminals.
At the age of 32 Katherine was assigned to an undercover task, to find information on the missing and stolen Pokemon, specifically shinies that disappeared over the months, she came to a group known as the Shiny Hunters, run by Mia Faye and not to blow her cover, she managed to join their ranks. Katherine was "tasked" to keeping the shinies in control and feeding them, but before long she was assigned to actually hunt down shiny Pokemon and this is where she found the device that tracked all Pokemon, she had all the information she needed before Mia found a picture of her in an newspaper, as an newfound cop. Of course Katherine had lied earlier and told them she was a rogue cop, working against the Man.
But soon Katherine was found, and in attempt to research this fought against the criminals and released a Shiny Ninetales before stopping them in their tracks and escaping with the Ninetales.
The Ninetales was a wild one and was happy she saved her, asking it to stay the Ninetales agreed so Katherine could save these Pokemon, she transferred Koffing to her parents so she could have the Ninetales with her. Now her task force told Katherine she should warn trainers with shinies, using Ninetales's tracking device and the power of the FBI equipment she managed to track all of them down and asked them to meet her.

Appearance: Mia is close to six foot tall but is quite attractive and looks younger then she really is, she has a thin frame and knows how to fight with long black hair, hazel grey eyes and tanned skin. Mia wears black leather clothes, black leather boots and gloves so she isn't easily tracked.
Personality: Mia is ruthless, cunning and knows what she wants, she is usually not to be angered or she explodes and goes on a rampage, her lust for Shiny Pokemon seems to boil down to Mia wanting power and shiny new things, she has always used power and her beauty to get what she wants.
History: Mia was born in Orre, in the place know as Pyrite Town. She used to be a sweet person who owned her own Shiny Caterpie, however that pokemon was stolen from her and never seen again. Her parents would abuse her or neglect her, often getting into screaming matches with themselves or others. When she reached fifteen Mia ran away from home and headed towards Hoenn. She had caught a Deino on the way that seemed to share the same personality as her and always seemed angry.
As she grew up all Mia wanted was shiny Pokemon and powers, once she found out that shiny Pokemon could have a secret power that would make them stronger then their normal counterparts she wanted them even more, she created a group known as the Shiny Hunters, most of them men and she used her beauty to get them to do her bidding, she would capture all shiny Pokemon and wanted them.
By the time she was forty she had many shinies and a way to get them, but she was betrayed by an Agent Katherine and placed a death sentence on her name, and a recapture on the Shiny Ninetales she had taken from them, that Ninetales was going to be the first Pokemon Mia ever would control and wanted it so badly, she wanted Katherine and all the owners of Shinies dead, and she was fast approaching their whereabouts.

But she has also had an obsession with Shiny Pokemon ever since she was four and saw a Shiny Charizard, in a battle she knows her way around but doesn't always like seeing her Pokemon get hurt too much.
History: Phoenix was born in Laviridge town to two parents, but like Katherine she was abandoned and never knew why, she didn't know she also has a sister out there. Phoenix was adopted by a neighbour who lives next door to Flannery and perhaps is the reason for her interest in fire types, she swore her first ever Pokemon would be a fire type.
She looked hard for Pokemon and always went out with an adult exploring the lands, one day when she was five she swore a Shiny Charizard in the mountains behind her hometown, she was with Flannery and both seemed surprise to see it. Carefully Phoenix approached it and it was a friendly Pokemon, it even let her and Flannery ride on it around Laviridge town before dropping them off at the gym, waving goodbye to the shiny Charizard Phoenix decided one day she would catch a full team of six Pokemon, their odd colours fascinated Phoenix as she was curious why their colour was different compared to the normal counterparts.
As she grew older and became a ten year old, Flannery had a surprise for her, she found a Shiny Torchic in the same place where they found Shiny Charizard, Phoenix chose him as her first starter and was convinced the Charizard had brought that Torchic back to gift her, she didn't know if this was true. Phoenix wasn't ever interested in actually fighting gyms, maybe becoming a fire gym leader but that dream would be far off.
Instead she studied in school where she came across a normal colour Nidoran that seemed to highly like her, not wanting to reject it Phoenix captured the female Nidoran. Once she graduated Phoenix scoured the world for Shinies, never giving up and one by one she found them. She caught a Shiny Ralts near Petalburg Town, a Shiny Trapinch in the Hoenn Desert at the age of twenty five, after the Ralts.
She went to Cinnarbar Island where she found a Shiny Growlithe at thirty, her last Pokemon however didn't get caught until she was thirty seven, she found a Metagross high up in the Sinnoh region, hiding in some mountains. She knew it existed but never knew where it was until she found it, the Metagross fainted all but her Blaziken, it was a battle that almost costed Phoenix's life when Blaziken was struck down and Metagross came at her, but Blaziken struck back and Phoenix managed to catch the Pokemon, she swore one day her final and sixth Pokemon, pardoning Nidoran would be a Shiny Charizard and she would catch it.
