Summer 2026 anime season - What will you be watching?

We should now have the full list of series coming out this coming season, and the international streaming platforms like Crunchyroll have been posting trailers showing what they've got.

If you've not yet seen what's coming up, here's a convenient list, including info on what platforms they'll be on, as well as trailers: AniChart: Seasonal Anime Charts

So far, there's only really three series that I absolutely know I'm watching, all of which are either remakes or sequel seasons. I've included trailers for those below. If you recognise any other series from the list and you're familiar with their original light novels or manga, I'd appreciate some additional recommendations!

Finally, a seasonal anime thread where I have something to say!

I've been looking forward to BanG Dream! Yume∞mita since its announcement several months ago. They've kept their cards close to their chest in regards to the contents of the anime, but it's looking to be a good time, and I'm always happy to learn more about a new Bandori band. :> It's starting with three episodes at once on July 2nd and I am seated for that!

There'll be BanG Dream! animated content in the fall and winter as well. It's a great time to be a fan!
 
Nothing. Maybe Grand Blue S3 once I catch with the manga and then season 2 of the anime. Also, the tabacco propaganda is strong this season lol. DON'T SMOKE
 
MAGILUMIERE SEASON TWOOOO!!! please watch Magilumiere if you haven't, it's such a fun and interesting take on the magical girl genre
