As a reminder, we ask that every work published in our Workshop contain content warnings, even if none apply (in which case, you can just mention that no content warnings apply). Greetings everyone!

This is just a small, preliminary announcement to remind people that the Awards will be starting from June the 1st New Zealand time, so in about a week's time! The full rules and other such nonsense will be posted there and then, but this is just to let everybody know so you can make sure you have that next great chapter of your story posted in time. Any story posted or updated since the middle of February will be eligible for entry - I'll have the exact date for you in the official thread.

For full details about the categories and what can be entered in them, check out the Hall of Fame where we have put detailed blurbs. There will be no changing of categories this time around or any new ones. However, to guarantee we can get as many fics as possible in, we are going to make it from now on that all stories can only be nominated in one category, so if you have nominated your story in multiple ones in the past you have this time to decide which one suits it best.

So essentially, get writing your next stories and get reading to find the entries you want! If you have any questions before things get started then please feel free to ask away, and if you are wanting to judge then let me know as well!

@AceTrainer14; Can we nominate multiple things for one category? e.g. could I nominate both Saturn Yoshi from Bulbagarden! and Vic from The Green Chronicles for Best Supporting Character?

You're allowed two nominations per category. More info on how nominations work will be posted when the awards kick off.

What Aether said basically. Also though your self nominations and your nominations for others are separate: you can nominate a certain amount of your own work and a certain amount of other peoples work, not an overall number for both.
