Summer Days (and doujinshii!)

Whee, it's summer! It's also my first attempt at being painterly rather than cel-shade-y with photoshop. I was a little timid, but I like the results, I think. I'm especially fond of how little bulbasaur turned out, though th elinework might need some tweaking.


Also, CharlesRocketBoy and I ressurected our 2002 doujin, BOM/MSb fan adaptation, and have been revamping the artwork and scripts, one chapter at a time. Oh my! Mewtwo looks so adorable curled up on Ai's lap. Makes me want to take him home and huggle him forever. The starters are just plain adorable, especially Bulbasaur. And I like Ai's expression of wonder. Also, the dapped light effect is quite nice.

My only crit here would be some color bleeding here and there, but it's not very noticeable.

Looks more Macross than Ghibli to me. Still, very awesome job. I like it a lot! I really need to get me a copy of photoshop, lol. It sounds like pretty powerful stuff.
