Summertime Smoothies and Cocktails: Share your recipes here!

Since it's summer at least where I live, I thought I'd start a thread to share summer cocktail/smoothie recipes.

One that I want to make but need to get my hands on some vodka:

Grapefruit, Mint, Herb-infused Vodka

you will need:

grapefruit/grapefruit juice
mint leaves
cilantro/basil/thyme/garlic - HERBS BASICALLY it doesn't matter specifically which ones, just stick them in as you like the flavor.
Tiny berries, pineapple slices
vodka obv

how to prepare:

Infuse the juice, vodka, mint leaves, herbs in a jar or a pitcher for 1-3 days, strain, put in the berries/pineapple slices, and serve.

Here's the "Watermelontini" recipe I posted in the other drink thread.

1 part vodka
1 part watermelon schnapps
2 parts watermelon juice (to make, blend watermelon chunks and strain through cheesecloth)
2 tablespoons simple syrup (sugar and water mixture)
1 part lime juice
1 lime wedge

Run the lime wedge around the rim of a chilled glass, then dip in white sugar. Mix watermelon juice, schnapps, vodka, lime juice, and syrup In a shaker with ice, cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted. Serve in the glass and garnish with lime wedge.

Mmm, for summer drinks I just can't go past a lime Whiskey sour. Or anything with lime in it for that matter.

2 parts Whiskey (I prefer Jameson's)
1 part Lime Juice
1 teaspoon sugar syrup or granulated sugar
Few drops Angostura bitters

Shake the whiskey, lime juice and sugar with ice, and then strain over ice into an Old Fashioned glass. Add a few drops of Angostura bitters, stir and garnish with a slice of lime.
Though technically it's Winter here, so it'll be Presbyterians and Irish coffee for me in the meantime.

Well, since I can't make cocktails (or alcohol for that matter) I'll share a smoothie recipe.

Orange Smoothie!
You will need:
2 Navel Oranges
1 Diced Mango
2 cups orange juice
and optionally tangerine

Directions:
Put in the Orange, Mango and about a handful or two of ice.
Blend well. add the orange juice and stir with a spoon.

ENJOY!
