So which pre-order bonus are you going for? And if there's anything that should be added to the list, do tell me!

I want that Solgaleo figure and those pins so badly. EBGames Canada, don't screw me over.

I have no idea which bonuses I will receive. When I picked up my copy of Smash Bros, I received a dog tag. And with Alpha Sapphire, I only received a Steelbook Edition.

I pre-ordered Sun through the Nintendo store, so I'll be getting the Solgaleo figure. I kinda wish we were getting the pins though, I like those better than the figures. But hey, suppose I should be glad we're getting anything at all, the US doesn't seem to have any bonuses so far.

Wasn't it confirmed like a month or two ago that you get the steelbook bonus through Amazon if you pre-order both games in the US...or at least north america?

With that said I'm disappointed in the US bonuses since we stopped getting the figures after the HGSS/platinum debacle of not making enough figures to meet all the pre-orders through game stop.

Posters are nice and all...but I'm running out of wall space.

I haven't heard about any pre-order bonuses in U.S. aside from Amazon. Have Gamestop and/or Toys R Us revealed any pre-order bonuses yet? I've been holding off on pre-ordering the games because I wanted to see who had the best pre-order bonuses. I'd really like to see the figures, but knowing Gamestop, I wouldn't be surprised if it was posters again. They are nice, but not really something I'd go for a pre-order bonus. Toys R Us had plush toys as pre-order bonus for OR/AS, so if they have anything like that, I'm going to go with them again instead of Gamestop.

I suppose that I could go with Amazon since it would get here on the release date, but I don't want to take any chances of not being able to play the games on the release date. Plus, I can go out right when the stores open instead of waiting for the mail to come in.

I really like the pins, so I'm a bit :( that the UK isn't getting those. I may pre-order for the figures, though.

What's Amazon's pre-order bonus? So I can add it to the OP, couldn't find anything about US pre-order bonuses...

This is the reason why I probably won't be pre-ordering either, the mail always comes here last, so I wouldn't be able to play until the end of the day :(

That and that a set of 12 Quick Balls definitely isn't worth it :p

I think that Amazon's pre-order bonus is a Steelbook Duel Pack. That's the Amazon Exclusive pre-order for both games, although I don't know if you get something different if you only pre-order one of the games from their website.

The mail for me usually comes around between two and four, although it can be as late as five in the afternoon, but that's still too long of a wait for the games for me as well. It's easier to just drive up to a store right around when they open and get the games so I can play both of them throughout the day.

Yeah and posters don't last as long as pins, plush toys, and figures. Posters gets faded over time (faster if it's in direct sun light most of the time), gets ripped and damaged over time even when you move them around, and take up space for new posters, calendars, picture frames, and wall decorations. While pins, plush toys, and figures have a more special value to them and you can place them on your desk or a shelf where you can see it everyday. With pins, you can place them into a jewelry box where they're safe and won't get lost somehow. I wish that Gamestop would give us something special instead of posters, potions, and Pokeballs.

It seems there's now a pre-order bonus for the US! When you pre-order both versions at GameStop, you get this double sided poster:

Don't like the poster? Then you can also go for the absolutely not overpriced Strategy Guide - Vault Edition! Okay, the game's not included, but for only $77,99 you do get the following nifty stuff:
  • Special edition hardcover guide featuring exclusive Pokémon artwork
  • Collectable Vault Edition box with magnetic closure
  • A 240 page journal
  • Roller ball pen with silver etchings
  • Lithograph set of new artwork in a protective sleeve
  • A thank you card with gold foil stamp signatures from members of Game Freak
  • Bookmark with Tassel
  • Decals with five newly discovered Pokémon
  • Double sided poster map of the Alola region
Also available on Amazon UK and France, for only £100.09 and €122,99 ;)

Do note the sarcasm, this is the most overpriced shit I've ever seen

I pre-ordered Vault Edition yesterday from Amazon UK (100 pounds + 20 pounds shipping to Greece). I know that the price is ridiculously high but it is the most luxury pokemon item I have ever seen!

And of course its value will become sky high after some years :)

Except pokemon maniac, I'm a collector of rare items/coins/pens as a hobby, so I couldn't lost this opportunity!

Probably going to go with the Amazon Steelbook myself. It'll get me and my hubby each a copy of the game in one fell swoop. And Steelbooks are kinda cool. I'd love it if we got the pins here in the US; I collect pins and that is right up my alley. I may just have to bite the bullet and hit eBay for them later. =/

I'm probably going to get that as well. I have a soft spot for blank journals. (Don't know if I'd ever use it...) Yeah, it's overpriced but I have a Swagbucks account. I can earn some Amazon gift cards. That will certainly help.

And I really hope that the pen is refillable. For that price, it ought to be!

As I can see in the picture, the pen looks definately refillable (it isn't like some cheap "solid" ballpoint pens). I wouldn't use it either, I bought it only as a collectable piece.

I was disappointed to hear about the poster pre-order bonus at Gamestop. It's not surprising, but it is disappointing when that does feel too lack luster. I do think that the Strategy Guide Vault Edition is pretty cool though. It's expensive, but it does have a lot of cool stuff. It might be something I'd put on a Christmas list rather than buy it myself, but it sounds pretty neat. I'm still going to wait a bit longer to see if Toys R Us has a better pre-order bonus for the games, but I may just pre-order at one of the stores soon regardless. I want to have the pre-order tag and stare at it longingly for a couple of months.

I'm just sad the Strategy Guide Vault doesn't include at least one of the games (or even both). I mean, it's a strange world we live in when Strategy Guides get better bonuses than the game itself :/

Also some news for my fellow Dutchies: if you pre-order Sun/Moon at Wehkamp.nl, you get a €10 discount, so you only pay €33,75! Not really a pre-order bonus I guess, but definitely better than 12 quick balls ;)

It's such a shame that there's all these cool bonuses around the world. But here in South Africa I have no idea if there are any bonuses. :/

Good thing I got a free Alolan map at comic con a few months ago or I'd be disappointed!

What I'm saying is the poster isnt worth it. Especially not the fact they used the wrong picture (use the landscape one. It's a better for a poster and cuter!) But it's also not worth the price of two games. They're literally running out of ideas for non-figure/easily reprintable preorders.

As for the deluxe guide thing. Who made that? Aniplex? You can seriously buy anime figures for cheaper than that.
