Korea just had a sun and moon trial judged by the Korean rating board. Could be interesting on whether or not it will be like ORAS with the datamining that happened with the demo.

Serebi also covered it recently

" Today, the Korean Rating Board has put out a new rating for a special bit of software. This software is the Pokémon Sun & Moon Special Trial Version. It's not currently known when this demo will be released, if it will give anything to the main game like Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire's did, or if it will be globally but we'll provide full details as and when they come so be sure to check back "

Just sharing since it is interesting :)
Thoughts ??

Pokémon Sun & Moon ‘Trial’ Rated in Korea

Please tell me we won't have a datamining repeat of the ORAS demo! Please! Don't do this to yourselves Game Freak!

Demos are always fun though, so hopefully this is easy to obtain. I remember the ORAS demo originally had a few hoops to jump through to get it I made a fake pre-order on Amazon to get my code and then cancelled the pre-order I'm not sorry

I guess there'll probably be something to transfer over from the demo as an incentive to play. Maybe a Z-Crystal?

Agreed. I think this, if released, will mean hackers discover everything and ruin the surprise for the Internet.

A Z-Crystal could be good.

It shouldn't be too hard to only put the demo info in the demo, instead of all the game info, right? I'm still so baffled that every bit of info was in the ORAS demo, why would that all be there if it isn't used at all :/

With that said, I am excited for a demo. Any way to play a part of this game early is welcome. Please just put the thing in the eShop this time though, instead of limited codes, what was even the purpose of that. Also, please let us be able to play as the girl too this time :(

Can't wait until all the information is datamined and everyone blames GF for spoiling them about everything instead of the people who willingly found the info and put it on the Internet.

Well it is GF's fault for leaving all that info in the demo, again: why the hell was that all there when hardly any of it was used in the demo? And I think you can hardly blame people for finding that info, it was bloody everywhere. I wasn't looking for it at all and came across the info multiple times anyway in different places. Not being on the internet at all would've been the only way to avoid it.

It's hardly GF's fault for not expecting people to hack into things and spoil things for everyone.

If people want someone to blame they can blame those who go out of their way to look for data and expose it to everyone (the dataminers).

Well you figure they'd know to be prepared for such a thing by now. Hell, their related company (Nintendo) pretty much is infamous for getting their games datamined. Now is it really the dataminers fault? I personally don't think so. In this day and age there's somewhat of record of Nintendo games constantly getting datamined and such. It's not the miners fault that Nintendo/Gamefreak doesn't bother hiding any of this stuff. Unless it's physically impossible to do so. But I kinda doubt that.

Not gonna lie I really don't care about the datamining. It's easy to stay away from and at the very least is interesting. I looked for ORAS as it was just a remake, but ifa demo gets released and is hacked then I'll likely not look at the info. Last time it happened everyhting went onto a pastebin. It'll likely be the same this time and all you have to do to not be spoiled is never go onto that page. I'm more worried about how they'll get the demo out. If it's going to be put out to the whole world rather than a convention setting, then I hope they don't repeat the same mistakes of ORAS's demo. That was stressful and unnecessary. The whole you might get it you might not thing was lame and even when a lot of people DID get the code to download it didn't work and they needed to send out new codes. Also while I think I'll be wrong about it, I hope the demo comes out earlier than the ORAS one. The ORAS one came out in, I believe, mid October. I'd like to play the SuMo demo sooner rather than later hahahaha. Honestly there's a reason for that other than being impatient. The reason is that when they released the ORAS demo there wasn't much time left before the games actually came out. So honestly most people could have just waited the month to play. People already know how Pokemon plays, it's not hard. So getting the feel of the new game out a little earlier might be better. Also I WANT TO PLAY NOW!!!!!!! Hahahaha

No, it won't be the same. This time we will have pretty much EVERY Alola Pokemon and Alola form revelated, oposed to a single Hoopa form. They will be everywhere.

It's easier to blame an organization who maybe can hear us than thousands of annonymous hackers around the world, some of which don't even care about Pokemon.

So it's easier to blame someone who never intentionally spoiled you than someone who did?

Sure.

And the megas, story elements, new characters, battle resort, etc....

With it being a new game rather then a remake you'd think they'd be more careful with what they leave in. Things are usually trial and error with GF. Maybe they learnt their lesson last time.

Look at it this way, ORAS special demo was the first home demo for a pokemon game. Maybe they found out that they couldn't leave half the game in like they could at like a store or convention demo because people will datamine it and spoil it emediately rather then in 15 years when somebody gets their hands on a rom that some event staff/employee saved from distruction.

Prediction: Pokémon Sun & Moon Special Trial Version is data-mined and all the spoilers get reveal to us early.

Considering the masses of leaks and rumors so far, I wouldn't be surprised if these demo versions get mined like a cobweb from Minecraft.

I don't really care either way if it gets datamined. If it does, I'll know what I'm getting into. If it doesn't, then I'm the same as usual. I kinda prefer knowing what to expect when I play a pokemon game though. Then again I really don't go out of my way to hunt down new information. I just visit here and very rarely I visit reddit when it comes to pokemon info.

I hope there's a demo though. I'm very excited for Sun and Moon and would love to try out even a little thing like a demo.
