Obviously, all we know for now is the names of them and more info is coming later ... but sometimes that's all you need to decide which one's destined to be your favorite.

So, has anyone decided on their purchase strategy or is it still too early to call?

[UPDATE 10th May] - We have the news! Does this change or temper anyone's preference for one version or the other?

Too early to call for me. I was so sure I was going with X (because of Xerneas) but then Skrelp was revealed to be a Y exclusive and I had to change. So that taught me not to rush and make a hasty initial choice.

Both the logos look great though, I'll give them that much.

I usually get both versions. One to restart as many times as I want and the other to store level 100 pokemon and shiny pokemon.

I love love LOVE moon themed stuff. Just the shape of a crescent moon is awesome. So, of course, I'm going straight for the Moon version. ♥ I plan on naming my female character something moon-ish as well!
 
At the moment, leaning towards Moon, but it's literally just because I played Digimon World Dawn a while back and thought I'd give the dark side a try this time. In the end, it'll really come down to exclusives, legendaries, and the like.

Hehehe. As someone who's played both Dawn and Dusk I can tell you that there's nothing dark (save virus types of course) about the other team. ;) We're all just a bunch of folks who love the color purple, honest~

That's one of the reasons I love the moon theme. It's almost always portrayed with lovely cool colors like blue and purple~ Another good reason to want to get Moon!
 
Moon, but only because I prefer night over day.

Still way too early to say what version I'll be getting for sure.
 
Actually I voted for moon because I like the concept... and anything that's related to the moon like the moonlight, the general mythology, femininity, the darkness, the stars... but, seriously, more information is needed. I don't know what the plot is related, and what are the games differences at all..
 
I'll most likely be getting both Sun and Moon, much like I have all four core titles in Gen VI. I'm still unsure as to which one will be my "main" game for the pair, however. I'll likely leave that decision to after we know what the mascots are, and possibly what other differences will be between the two games.
 
I pre-ordered both Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon today at EB Games at Watergardens (which is actually more convenient than Caroline Springs where I pre-ordered AlphaSapphire and OmegaRuby a couple of years ago). But I would wait until both games are released before I make my opinion.
 
Moon, because I find the night so much beautiful, and so serene, so quiet. <3

I love the sun too, but for a Pokemon game I think I would prefer a moonish / night theme. :)
