Sunrise​

Well, I guess its that time of year again…

I hope you’re doing alright, Gramps…

Oh, hi, I didn’t see you there! My name is Lucia, as you probably already see I’m up here in the mountains as well.

What you can’t? Well, ok then! I’ll describe it to you.

Ummm, around here theres mostly dirt…we’re really high up so don’t look down ok?

I get kind of nervous just looking down at the darkness at the bottom of these things,

Anyway, what are you doing here? Oh, I suppose its to see the scenery, right? Its very beautiful up here… Do you see that sunset? Its amazing, isn’t it?

Hey, when you see a picture of a sun on the horizon, do you think it is setting or rising?

That’s your answer? Well I guess I doesn’t matter either way…Whats important is being able to see it is what I think. Oh, that’s right you can’t, heh, alright I’ll describe it to you.

The sky is full of an orange-ish colour, its really nice. Its light is poking through behind some mountains... It looks like some sort of painting that you would find in the museum at Lilycove.

Oh be careful! That picture frame there is important. Even if you were just looking, it would have been nice if you had asked!

Its very important to me, this photo is of my Grandpa. He went missing in the mountains a few years ago on this day. I was paying my respects.

He used to always take me up here when I was smaller, he said fresh mountain air would make me grow taller. So much for that, huh?

Hey how about we go have some food at my place? You go on ahead I need to pack up some stuff.

I’ll meet you on the main trail! I said, I’ll meet you on the main trail!

Gramps, thank you for being there for me, I’ll never forget you –sniff- I…also want to see you again, but, well I can’t! I won the gym challenge just like I said I would didn’t I? See I can do it, even if I’m a girl. You’re Kanga is doing fine, dad is taking loads of care of her and your Bliss is doing fine, I’m training her really well. So please keep watching over me, I’ll make you really proud.

Go Bana! Show Gramps what a strong Tropius you’ve become.

That was Sunrise, I tried to experiment a little and write a story with only speech (and a thought) so I hope it was comprehensible! It was difficult to show the passing of time this way. This is my first submission, so I hope you liked it!

I based this story after the little drawing at the top of the page which gave me some inspiration. After finishing the story I became really drained for some reason.
