Super Rod

I apologize in advance: I must be incredibly stupid. I'm looking for the super rod and all Bulbapedia says is "It's available after the player defeats the Elite Four." Wikipedia and Serebii have nothing, and all the walkthroughs on GameFAQs.com say nothing about it.

Is the rod ridiculously easy to find and I'm just an idiot? What's going on and where can I find it?

You get it from a Fisherman in the Fight Area (dont remember it's exact name, but it's near the Battle Tower) after you obtain the National Dex.

Austichar is correct, you obtain it from the fisherman standing right next to the passage to route 225 from the battle area.

I heard it can get National Dex Pokémon such as Luvdisc (Victory Road) or Lapras (Pokémon League and 224)

Close. Luvdisc is found on 224 and Pokemon League; Lapras is found in Victory Road.
