I got into Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger not too long ago and found it to be really, really interesting. It certainly makes a lot more sense than the mess that was Power Rangers.
 
I'm a fan of both the Sentai series and english equivalents myself.

Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger was a fairly intense season, and also one of my top favorites. I like it when the rangers actually fulfill a peacekeeping role as a profession or organization rather than some uber special force.

S.P.D. was none to shabby either since I believe it was one of the few adaptions to remain closer to the actual plot of Sentai.

I could ramble on, but I'm hoping continued discussion of Power Rangers isn't looked at as a sore topic here.
