I'm a little confused on the "can have any of Pumpkaboo's possible Abilities (including its Hidden Ability)" part. Would I be able to soft-reset for the hidden ability? Or is it set at a random one and I just have to hope for the best?

I was surprised with this one, but I don't think it'd be that interesting unless you really like Pumpkaboo. Or if you want to enter that Trick or Treat battle competition, which it seems to be designed around.

You can get a different one every time you soft reset for it, yes. It took me about 4 or 5 tries to get one with Insomnia.

It allows you to get HA Super size Pumpkaboo for the first time iirc - the Friend Safari Pumpkaboo are all Average size afaik. So it's not entirely worthless.

I prefer Frisk, since it's immune to the most common sleep moves (Spore + Sleep Powder) by virtue of its Grass typing. Still one for those that want Insomnia Super size at least.

I got my three shortly after I learned they were distributing them. And before anyone asks, yes, I have three versions (one X and two Y), to try out various ideas and do trades among myself.

Anyway, onto subject, I like the fact that you can "tailor" this Pumpkaboo to your needs with a simple soft reset, unlike most events. And it grants the leverage needed for an Insomnia Super Size, as only Average Size with Insomnia can be accessed normally. Plus I love Pumpkaboo, one of my favorite Ghost-types, and it's so cute in Amie. Now I have the whole set! ^_^b

Speaking of HAs, how does breeding work with Pumpkaboo? Can you breed a super size Pumpkaboo to get even more super size Pumpkaboo or is this the only one we can get?

The mother's size dictates the child's size (or the father in a case where Ditto is the mother)

Plus the fact that HA's can now be passed from a father with a Ditto mother means that now super-size Pumpkaboos with Insomnia are a thing.

Yeah, Insomnia pretty much sucks unless your team specifically needs a counter to a sleep lead and you're worried about Dark Void, and comparably, Frisk is fantastic. But it'll be nice to have an HA Super Size for completion/coolness sake.

EDIT: Oh, hey. Does anybody else wait until certain specific dates to get their Wonder Cards? Since the date is recorded on the card, I always like to get a cool date. Then again I'm a synaesthete, so maybe there is no such thing as "cool dates" to anyone else, haha.

Oh wow! I totally forgot about the HA...Thankfully, my X boy got a male with Insomnia, so scoreeee! ;D
Now I'm going to try and breed it with a Japanese ditto and see if I can get a shiny super size Gourgeist with Insomnia! o3o Woot, so excited. ;D
