So, anyone play Brawl? I played online a lot awhile back, but then my Wii stopped reading the disc properly. I couldn't start a match without getting an error. I could do other things though, like listen to music, view trophies, etc. I just couldn't play a freaking match.

But I sent my Wii and the game to NoA for a repair, and now everything works like it's brand new. So I'm itching to get my old skills back and play online again. :3

You can talk about anything to do with Brawl in this thread though, the characters you play as, what trophies you got, and you can even ask for help if you're having trouble unlocking something. You can also share screenshots and videos and stuff too. I still have a video of me owning a couple of my buddies with Ike using his forward A smash, one right after the other. It was right at the end of the fight, so it gave me the win lol. XD

Ike is one of my mains, so yeah. Admittedly, I happen to be a major Ike fangirl (my brother got me playing as him in Brawl, then I got interested in his games. Playing them was when I really started loving him). x3 But I also love Luigi! I played as Luigi since Melee. I never played the first Smash Bros. But anyway, Luigi is my other main. I also use Marth and Toon Link. People say I'm best with Luigi. I was pretty good with Ike too, though. I'm rusty now, unfortunately, after having not being able to play for so long due to the problem I mentioned above.

I haven't played Brawl in a long time because I'm too busy with other things. I main R.O.B. because robots kick arse. Luigi and Falco are my other mains. Too bad we may not share any Brawl snapshots nor videos if the Internet Censorship bill is passed.
 
That bill? I've heard of it, but I never really read about it. That's really stupid. >_>

I hope it doesn't get passed. I love sharing my screenshots and such with people.
 
I play Brawl sometimes, tho 97.5% of the time its with my friends when we hang out.

I main Jigglypuff, Toon Link, Ness, Bowser, and Wolf. If anyone wants to Brawl sometime, I guess I can leave my FC here....
 
I love Brawl, but I can't really say it's my favorite of the Smash Bros. series, since I think all three games have different things to offer and are better in some areas than they are in others. That said, Brawl had a great selection of characters, stages and music. I don't really have a main character that I play as; I like to play as all of them, though of course I'm better with some characters than with others.
 
I play Brawl, but not a lot. I usually play online, but I get so fed up with it.... One time I was on a team battle, and whoever I was paired up with just kept falling off the stage on purpose! It was total sabotage and the people we were up against just stood there and watched the whole time. Needless to say I never played the team battle online again(well, I probably have, but I have strong feelings about it). I just play with the ally being only myself now...
 
I've never played Brawl online as it requires a broadband connection. It sucks being the last person on Earth with dial-up. :-(

As a matter of fact, I have yet to beat the Subspace Emissary and collect all the characters, so I'm not very well-equipped for online play anyhow.
 
Brawl happens to be my favorite game in the series: it lacks the weird ragdoll physics of the original and it isn't filled with as many super-exact clones as in Melee, but at the same time it lacks personalized Target Tests and the Event Matches in Melee felt much better. Plus the tripping mechanic was a bit lame to put in.

Other than that, I've enjoyed every moment of Brawl, the online has even grown on me after awhile.
 
I love Brawl, but I was still a little disappointed with it. It was never going to be the same leap forward Melee was to the original, but I'm a greedy person and I wanted more features and modes. Also, I'm not one of those people who can't stand playing with items, but I don't know why they make some of them have a chance of backfiring on whoever used it. (I never want to play Nintendogs now. Those puppies have made me too angry)

The online mode is complete crap. If I ever hear that damn waiting room music ever again... Even when you do get to battle, it lags too much to fight at your best. I don't like how you can only play 2 minutes matches when you face random people, especially given how difficult I find it is to organize battles with others.

But there's still a lot of fun to be had with the game, and I STILL can't believe Snake and Sonic are in there. My favourite characters to play are Luigi, Bowser and Ike.

I love Brawl. It's one of my favorite games. Not sure if I like it more than Melee, but I love it anyway. I've not played it in several months, due to university n' RL stuff, but I'd love to have a match with anyone here! My Friend Code's in my sig.
 
How long has it been since I've played? Well...I always have been up for a game.
 
Brawl is by far my favorite of the three in the SSB games. I'm good with Toon Link and Pikachu, and I have done alright in local tournaments. Or at least I don't lose the first round. It's been way too long since I have last played though. Maybe I'll ask around for friend codes of people who have the game later, as I can never seem to get any Random matches.
 
I've played this game almost every day with my friends ever since it came out, since one of them lives in front of the school. My main character would be Meta Knight, followed by Pikachu. I'd like to take part in a local tournament and see how I'd do, one day.
 
^I'll throw out there that now metaknight is banned from tournaments. Be aware of that if you ever go.

Right now I main Pit and use Zero Suit Samus as a secondary.
 
Oh yeah, I play Brawl. I haven't played it in a while for various reasons, but I like playing it when I'm in the mood. I'm not the greatest player in the world, but I main Sonic, Captain Falcon, and Snake.

I smile whenever I pull off Captain Falcon's Side-B-to-Up-B combo. >:D
