Supposed 'Generation V' Pokémon not so much: Serebii.net posts Movie 12 title

The rumored Generation V Pokémon covered by a question mark graphic in the Dec. 4 feature about the 12th Pokémon movie is actually a Pichu with a spiked ear, according to a movie poster posted to a Japanese image board. Serebii.net has also reported the name of the 12th movie is 「超克の時空へ」 iToward the Overcome's Space-Time/i. Bulbanews has tentatively chosen to translate the title as iToward Overcoming the Emptiness of Space-Time/i.

LOL there was no GenV Pokémon and we were already fighting about its suppoes identity. Priceless.

Where did you guys get the emptiness bit from?

Oh, and for those wondering, Coronis' first translation was 'Towards the Space Time that has been overcome' but we changed it to how it literally is which is 'towards the overcome's time space'

I have no idea where you guys got the emptiness bit

超克の時空へ
Chōkoku no Jikū Kara he

超克 Chōkoku = overcoming
の no = possessive
時 Jikū = space-time
空 Kara = emptiness, vacuum
へ he = towards

Unless "kara" means something else in this case, and my translating software is wrong.

Also, I was very careful to write "tentatively" because there is always an alternate pronunciation of one of the kanji written above the kanji in kana.

I'll double check with Coronis when he's next back on

lol They sure got us good. Movie title sounds cool at least.

How about: Fight the Space-Time Void!

Better to translate the meaning than transliterate the words.

I think it's fake. That Pichu doesn't look a whole lot different to some of the others i've seen (google images) besides the fact it's winking.

It makes no sence:
-They'd hide it from us
-They'd give it spikey ears
-They'd let it star in a movie

Seriously, what's wrong with them if they want to showcase an old non important Pokemon?! Unless they're gunna release GSDS some time soon :/

They hid it to build hype.

one more reason this might not be pichu
-if you remember gen 4 pokemon munchlax was revealed around the release emerald

Which is a pretty stupid move, because wouldn't that just cause fan backlash? The anime lately seems to be into teasing fans with the same old shit they've seen for the past three years, which has got to bite them in the ass eventually. "Let's pretend Togepi is a new Pokemon!" "Why?" "WHY NOT?!"

Nobody liked Pichu the FIRST TIME, damnit.

I think the chances of GS remakes being next just skyrocketed.

Oh? Because they were advertising a Pichu behind a question mark? I dunno...
