Surfing/Flying Pikachu question

If you breed them do they retain the HM move like they normally would or do they lose that move?

Fly and Surf aren't in their egg movepool, so I don't think you'd be able to pass the moves on, although I've heard (ridiculous) claims about Smeargles and female Surfing Pikachus.

I don't think that Pikachu can pass on surfing/flying as an Egg move, but I don't know 100% for sure.

Well when i bred my pikachu that can use volt tackle its babies also had volt tackle so maybe.
