A currently airing anime. I think is on par with attack on titan if not better then it. Sadly it has a bit service, something in which I don't like at all. Anyone have thought on this, or has seen it?

I'm really, really enjoying this series. I'm up to episode 10. Can't watch the 11th until Sunday.:c
How many episodes are there going to be...? I read somewhere there'd be 13, but 12 elsewhere.

I didn't see a whole lot of fanservice, though...?
Apart from I guess that butt-tap in the first episode and Amy's dance in episode 6, and episode 5, which altogether I personally don't consider a huge amount.
 
Yeah it wasn't as bad as other ones. Trust me episode 11 is amazing! So good, you just gotta watch it. xD

Have you read the manga? As far as I know I think its probably going to be a 25 episode series, It could be a 13 one if the end it after this arc.
 
I've seen a couple of previews of episode 11, one more spoiler-y than I liked. Too bad.

Haven't read the manga yet. That came first... right?

Hopefully then, if the anime ends first, it has a decent original ending, or a second season comes afterwards. That's something I've become somewhat wary of--anime that start off really awesome but end in an unsatisfying way.

Yeah a lot of animes tend to end up as meh's. Who's your favorite character so far? Mine would be Pinion. You?

My favorite character is most likely Ledo. I love the development he's gone through.
From the first time he spoke in the language of the people on Gargantia with a "thank you", his realization of what the item he had been crafting in episode 4, his realization of what the Hideauze really are and his reaction afterwards... plus I think he's kinda cute, heh.>_>
 
I still don't know what to think about this series. It has some great animation, but I sometimes dunno how it's going to end Urobutchering? Maybe that's the beauty of it? I do hope it has a satisfying and tight ending.

I loved the first several episodes, especially when Ledo tried to escape by taking Amy hostage. It all really pulled me into watching the series. Ledo is my favorite, as to me, he's the most developed and complex character. As for the more recent episodes,
he had a really sweet moment when he first thanked the people in their native language. The fanservice was frequent yet tolerable. The story is becoming quite dark, especially after revealing the Hideauze's origin. Ledo looked so eager to offer himself as a soldier and to meet with his commander, but will Ledo abandon everything he's learned on Gargantia? Hmm..
