Hi, guys. I have been thinking about the whole things that are coming from the next episodes of the Pokemon's anime. And now I want to share with you some suspictions I have about what it could happen in the future episodes:
1º) Meloetta's arc: By some of the scenes/pictures seen in the previews, I have a suspiction that at the end of this arc, Giovanni and Team Rocket will have an end just like Cyrus and Team Galaxy in Sinnoh. However, I don't find this idea logical. I mean, after all these years prowling Ash and Pikachu, Team Rocket is going to be destroyed just like that? I think not. Besides, this saga bring us the very first battle of Ash vs Giovanni, (not adding "Mewtwo Returns" because the event was erased from the main character's memories). They can't just give us a short battle and that's it!! If they are going to give us the end of Team Rocket, they need to give us Ash battling Giovanni several times before it happens. And in their final match, Pikachu would crush Persian definitively; just like Brock's Croagunk finally smashed Saturn's Toxicroak in their last battle. So, in short, this is what I think it will happen at the end of this arc: Team Rocket is defeated, of course, but not destroyed; so they have to retreat, but Giovanni swear to claim revenge of Ash or something.
2º) Unova League: This generation in the anime is not exactly like its counterpart in the games, but the truth is that the League is coming a little too soon this time. Ash will have to stay in Unova at least until 2013's summer, because the next movie (number 16) will be about Genesect; so after the League starting this November, they will need a reason to explain why he's still in Unova. That's why I suspect that in the League, it will happen something like in the games. In the middle of the League, something disastrous will happen, like the appearing of N's Castle in the Unova League's Building. (It could explain the pillars scene blocking Ash's path in the new opening). So, the Unova League has to be stopped for a while (or even re-started) because of the damages. And in the meanwhile, Ash enters in anothers "mini-tournaments" to train for the League.
3º) Team Rocket vs Team Plasma: Another reason because Team Rocket can't be destroyed in Meloetta's arc is because they still own us this suspended special because of the earthquake; so they will have to aired at some point considering is so important for the storyline, as they say. I have heard rumors about this special will be finally aired this winter, which I hope is truth. Maybe this is what will cause the "interference" in the Unova League that I mentioned, making it to be put "on hiatus" while they repair the damages or stuff.
4º) Team Plasma: Now that I mention it, another reason to extent Unova's arc after the League is because the complete absence of the enemies from this Generation. They will have to look a reason to extend this arc, showing us the battle between the main characters against the Team Plasma. So, if they put the "Team Rocket vs Team Plasma" in the middle of the League to put it on hiatus, while Ash and co wait for the continuation of the league (training in minor tournaments in the meantime), they could have encounters with Team Plasma and even N. And before they put an end to Unova's arc, we can see the end of Team Plasma's story with Reshiram and Zekrom.
