Okay post the greatest deals you've ever gotten off the gts.
Here are mine ;
I got a mabaphy for a cyndaquil
I got a shiny eevee for a corphish
I deposited a level 1 eevee for a level 10 and up eevee and they sent me a shiny ^_^
I got a shiny metagross for a beldum >.>
A dialga for a feebas

Thats all I can think of right now but I'll post more as I think of them ^_^
So what are the greatest deals you've ever gotten off gts ?
 
hmm... few I remember are I got a manaphy for a shinx, so I beat you freddie on that one. I also got a ekans for a budew >.> and got a emploeon lv80 for a lv1 turtwig I had just hatched befoe trading and the Emploeon has been one of the best pokemon I have on my team so far.

I got over 200 shinies (I think that wins) haha...
All for easy trades like turtwig =]
Palkia for turtwig, shiny aipom level 99 for aipom level 34 =]
 
The Clone Glitch. Its sweet because I got eight masterballs off of it.


or I could say the Houndoom which i copied eight times (shiny) for a shiny rayquaza
 
I acquired a Modest Latios with 31 IVs in every stat except Attack. I don't recall what I traded to get him, but it wasn't anything special.
 
I wish when you search for a pokemon, you could search a shiny bar so that you can ask for a shiny. How great would that be?

From what some people have said, it seems that you can tell somethings a shiny before you trade for it, but thats never happened to me, the shinys I got, I never knew they eere shiny until I recieved them.

Yeah 200 shinys is great! Especially is oem of those had good natures /stats etc...

Technically it is possible, but the chances of a Pokemon randomly (i.e. not through breeding) having IVs of 31 in 5 stats are 1/33554432. So, 1 in over 33 million. Yeah, it was probably hacked.

Yeah, you should be able to tell on the picture that comes up when you tap the trainer sprite. I've only ever seen a shiny once, and it was a Lucario. I didn't feel like trading a lv 100 Latios for something that could have been hacked though.

Other than some basic help with completing my Pokedex, I don't really consider any of the deals I've gotten on the GTS to be "sweet." You can never know for sure whether what you get is a hack or not, and I usually assume that at the very best you're getting a clone... and that's not really anything particularly special to me. I kept a shiny Rampardos I got for a run of the mill Lucario, since it appears to be legit, but really, why would anyone give me a shiny Rampardos unless it was hacked/cloned?

I can use it online in Battle Revolution, so I don't think it's hacked. Of course I know it is possible to hack a Pokemon and keep it legitimate, with an Action Replay. I'm not sure how it works for Third Gen games, however (since it's a Latios).

Either way, I'm not as much concerned if it's hacked as I am if it's "legitimate," which it is-- meaning I can use it online and at an official tournament if I ever went to one.

It has abnormally good stats, but not illegal stats, so I have no qualms about using it competitively.

Since it's not illegal, and there's no way of knowing whether it is actually hacked or not, I'm just going to assume it's 100% legit.

Hacked Pokemon don't bother me unless they have illegal stats, moves, abilities, etc.

Maybe it's legit. But if it is, I don't think the owner would want to give it away.

As for the thing that it can be used in PBR, I have a question. How about they migrated a legit Latias from R/S/E to D/P, then use Pokesav on it to maximize it's IVs and make it shiny, will the Latias be 'legit' enough to be used in PBR?

I get what you're saying. It ultimately comes down to the hacks vs. no hacks argument.

What exactly does Battle Revolution check for, anyway? I'd imagine things like illegal stats, as you said, impossible moves/natures, impossible capture locations, and things like that. Since it is possible for your Latios to exist, as long as everything else about it makes sense, I don't suppose Battle Revolution would reject it.

I don't mean to be negative, but I'd say just be aware that a one in over 33 million chance Latios that just so happens to be modest (and the one IV it doesn't have a 31 in coincidentally is attack) is very likely not the real deal, and there are people who frown upon playing against people with hacks, regardless of whether they're still legal or not. And that would suck if you got kicked out of a tournament or something, although I doubt it since you're right; nobody could really prove it.

But I digress, as this isn't the "hacked or not" thread. :p

Hacking Pokemon using Pokesav and making it legal (game wise) is ridiculously easy.

I haven't used the GTS that much, I've gotten a Feebas for a Misdreavus. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal. That's just me though.
 
I got a Caterpie for a level 9 and under Mew!

On a serious note, I do remember getting a 31/31/31/9/31/31 Eevee or something in exchange for one of my random Eevee from when I was crazy about getting a shiny Eevee through breeding. It came at level 1 and through a daycare egg, so I think it might be legit. Never know, though. lol
 
Hm... I haven't been using the GTS very much lately. Perhaps I should and just start collecting IDs again.
 
Most of my female Combee trades. Seriously.

I've gotten at least 15 different Palkias from GTS by simply offering up a female Combee. I've also gotten a few Dialgas and a Latias, too. (I think the Latias has probably been cloned, but that's okay.) Never ceases to amaze me what people will give up for a female Combee.
 
A Regirock for a Sheildon.
A Cresselia for a Fearow. (Best deal out of all of them)
A Magikarp (lv 100) for a Magikarp (lv 1 or so)
A Shroomish for a Starly
