Switching Out (Recalling) and EVs

I was wondering, if I have a Pokémon in battle (for example, Metagross) and I shift in another Pokémon (for example, Charmander), will Metagross gain any Effort Values from the enemy Pokémon?
The answer is probably no, but I want to be sure.
