Hey Guys i wanted to make a thread about pokemon synergy. what synergy you might say. Well synergy is a group of about 2-3 pokemon that work good together weather its used as a Defensive core, Attacking core and other cores. Get a few and post them regardless which tier.

NU DEFENSIVE CORE
:097:
Hypno (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Insomnia
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
:110:
Weezing (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

any Normal type speedy sweeper

Weezing has great def and only affect badly by psychic but hypno can tank those moves because has a resistance to psychic now most psychic type will carry shadow ball. Teach hypno protect to scout if it has shadow ball then switch in to normal speedy sweeper to take it out. Tauros i'll recommed.

if you need a place to test them Pok

(Insert pure Ghost type Pokemon here) (F) Item:???
??? EVs
??? Nature
Zoroark (M) Item: Wise lens...?
252 Sp.Atk/Spe and 4 HP EVs
Timid nature

I've noticed that the Ghost type's weaknesses are also resisted by the Dark type so Zoroark disguised as (Ghost type) will take not very effective damage if attacked by a Ghost/Dark type move and it effectively gets a free attack.

I totally agree, and think that Gengar is the best Illusion cover for Zororak for a couple of reasons. For one they have similar stats as well as movesets, which can take the opponent longer to figure it out. Another reason is that Gengar's typing + ability discourages the use of Fighting and Ground attacks in favor of Dark, Ghost, and Psychic attacks which Zororak is resistant to.
