As most of you know, System Error started a thread in which he "will draw all 493 Pokemon in MS-Paint," although, by his own admission, his "skills with art have never been quite up to par...to say the least."

I edited a Bulbasaur sprite to look like System Error's drawing (of Bulbasaur, obviously) a while back, and people seemed to like it. They suggested that I make some more. Not wanting to steal his spotlight, I am making a seperate thread for the sprite edits.

I am going to repost System Error's drawing above each sprite for ease of comparison. But please, if you have not already, go to System Error's thread and show him support. He has a LOT more drawings there.

This was the first one System Error did. The face is priceless, and sets the tone quite well.

I didn't get the eyes quite right, but I feel like I got most of the rest of it down. And why is Ivysaur a vampire?

System Error commented that his Butterfree looks more like a Venonat evolution. But Butterfree already looks like a Venonat Evolution. I'm pretty sure Butterfree and Venomoth's designs were accidentally switched from the start.

I've always remembered it as chinese whispers. I've never heard 'broken telephone' before.
 
I wonder what Porygon will look like... And Venusaur's sprite is just awesome.
