Recently, my DS Lite (the Pokémon Center Pikachu edition one, by the way - I happen to know people "in the know", which is how I got it here in Singapore) have been getting some rather bad wear and tear on it. While the top surface is relatively undamaged, the underside has received nasty scratches all over. The areas around the D-pad and the buttons look "polished", and - despite having screen protectors - the touch screen is developing a few scratches as well. The touch screen itself even had a dead pixel on it - although I'm not sure if it was there all along as it was faint enough for me to usually not notice it unless I looked.
I'm wondering if it's possible to reverse some of the damages - I do regularly wipe my DS Lite with a slightly damp cloth, but it won't help with the scratches. Also, I heard from my sister that there's a way to reverse the "polishness" around the buttons and D-pad, but I can't remember what she said. As it's a special edition DS Lite, I don't want to risk damaging it further. Any help?
