Anyone else playing this masterpiece from Namco? I'm currently not too far into Tethe'alla.

^^; Played it, loved it, am on a second go-through trying to sabotage my relationshp with Colette... *coughs*

So, I'm curious, what do you think about it so far? Calling it a masterpiece is one thing, but specifically~?

There seems to be alot of mixed opinions about it, mainly between the high-and-mighty old-skool gamers and the Nintendo fanboys and whatever... >_>; Hmn.

It's a damn good game. Sure, I've played better, but this is a good RPG that I've played lately. Of course...that's due to my lack of a PS2 (Re: Poor)

The story's pretty mediocre. But the Gameplay makes up for it...and then some

This game is teh uber. I don't own it myself, but I've played it quite a lot. I'm Colette.

The town of Exire is so sad. Also Corrine's death is very sad, I wonder if there's a way to play out of it.

I think the storyline is awesome, but maybe that's because I've been playing games with skimpy storylines lately...Anyhow...Zelos bugs me. He's so idiotic, but he's cool at the same time. This game is awesome. All of the chosen are cool, and lots of voice-acting stars. Music's great, nothing special, but fitting. The only thing I don't like so far is how big you are when browsing the map. But this is a quirky, serious, great awesome game. Yep.

Lloyd and Genis tried to pick up the sacred wood, but couldn't, and Presea just came back and dragged it away. I loved the way Lloyd said, "I've lost all confidence as a man." XD XD XD

Oh, I guess it depends on where you go, then. I've seen more praise than anything, but there's always a bunch of people who are all "zomg, this game was a waste of 50 bucks, wait for Star Ocean 3 instead". >_>a Jerks.

Hitchi>> Wow, you play as Colette? I've never been able to control her for too long without absolutely sucking at it. XD; But, I want to use her more often, for Item Rover... any pointers? XD

I barely use Colette. Attacks too slowly for my tastes. And Judgment is a complete letdown. Sure, when certain enemies use it against you it's awesome, yet when YOU use it, all but two beams WHIFF!

So, who did you guys designate as the closest person to Lloyd? I stuck him with Sheena

Hahah. And, of course, it takes bloody forever to cast, unlike some bosses who go " Judgment!" and wipe you out in 0.5 seconds. *shakes fist*

Who do I put him with? Raine! Mainly because she's my absolute favourite, and her affection is usually way up high since I can't ever be mean to her to bring it down. Genis was up there for a while, though...

Could someone just give me a basic storyline so I can decide if I should buy it?

Well, it's a pretty predictable storyline. "The world is dying, let's save it!", and such. ^^; Honestly, I don't think the story would really sell this game, so much as the battle system or something...

Ya, so many games have that basic storyline. I looked up a video for it, and it has some amazing graphics! I'm probably going to end up getting it after i get Leaf Green.

I'm letting my brother play the game at home, hopefully he'll finish before christmas, but yeah, I decided to wait on playing it and doing four player mode with friends and roommates from the begining

The game will probably be $49.99, but I'm not sure. Some places it could be possible to find for $39.99... but I highly doubt it as it is a 2-disk game.
