Discuss the brand of handheld digital pets here! I feel like Pokémon Tamagotchis would work. Do you agree? :hmm:

If a SpongeBob Tamagotchi is ever announced, I will pre-order it ASAP! :bulbaCute:
 
I actually havIe 2 I found at Walgreens of all places. A Gen 1 and a Gen 2. Might start them soon. I was super into it when it was big and when they brought out the Tamagotchi Connections. They really are super cute. and fun. I wanted to collect all the types but I wasnt able to.

I dont really know anything about the newer ones though.
 
I love Tamagotchi. I've had a few back when they were popular. The batteries died on all of my Tamagotchis and I'm not able to play with them anymore. I also have a CD rom computer game Tamagotchi but I don't like it when I come back home to check how the Tamagotchi is doing, it turns out dead when I come to pick it up from the daycare.
 
Has anyone played the Tamagotchi video games? The most recent game, Tamagotchi Plaza, has functionality with the first device with Wi-Fi connectivity, Tamagotchi Uni. There is also a paid Tamagotchi Collab Pack for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival that was released on November 19th 2025.
 
Ohhh didn't they release an Eevee Tamagotchi a few years ago? The silly branded Tamas are kind of cute, I had the Tony Tony Chopper one a few years back that would turn into one of his Point transformations and then reset. It was really cute!!

I've been thinking about getting another Tama, I haven't had one since the Uni I believe? I lost that one during a long shift at work and I haven't worked up the courage to try again since c':

Anyway, My favorite is Kuchipatchi. Silly lil guy.

Oh nooo lol. But I remember seeing the trailer for it in a Nintendo Direct last year and realized I have been pronouncing Tamagotchi wrong my entire life. ._.

omg hello from a tama gremlin. Currently running the Jade Forest (Paradise), my pink Uni, and Pix Party which cost me a pretty penny. I love them so much! Wanting to get a My Melody Nano at some point when it's a bit cheaper/on sale, and also the new Precure color Nanos that were announced look sooo good.

Oh yeah, I'm aware! But I don't have Plaza and don't plan to get it, sadly it seems like it's not particularly great (as seems to be the case for most of the Tamagotchi video games lol). But thank you for mentioning ^^

I have Tamagotchi Plaza, and the first Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack I ever bought was for that game. The other upgrade packs I have are for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but unlike the Tamagotchi Plaza upgrade pack, I pre-ordered them.
