In Marvel's continued signage of known authors, they've apparently snagged Tamora Pierce (sorry, I don't know who she is) to pen a series based on the latest to wear the mantle of the White Tiger.

I figure SOMEONE here has to know who she is, and has to be intrigued by this. Right?
 
From what I've seen, she's a pretty generic fantasy author.
