***Be warned, there will be spoilers.***

This thread is to discuss all up and coming sets in the TCG that get recently released in English. So share your opinions with us here.

Is there a particular card you want to hunt down? Any art you absolutely love? Cards that seem viable? Any ideas for a new deck you wanna try? Plan to buy any packs?

With Burning Shadows officially releasing on August 4th, I figured it's a good starting point! Since there's already been some early booster boxes of it on YouTube, and the set list is online.

So what do you guys think of this set?

I'm personally a fan of collecting cards so I can't wait to add some new GXs to my collection. Salazzle, Marshadow, and Lycanroc are my faves of this set. While cutest art for me goes to Stufful hands down. :p

I'm honestly pretty underwhelmed with this set. There's a few solid cards, but aside from collection purposes, this isn't a very hot set for me.

This is the set I started collecting cards with today. I received some pretty good cards.

What I'm confused with is why they felt the need to create three different variants of GX for the same Pokémon? For instance, this burning shadows set has three different Charizard GX, Gardevoir GX etc.

I did draw 2 secret rare cards though (Charizard GX and Super Scoop Up) along with a few other GX cards, so I am happy with what the booster box provided me.

The GX, full art, and rainbow rares? I honestly haven't questioned it myself but it is definitely excessive. But they do look pretty I guess? I prefer full arts though.

Will say I need that Stufful promo from Toys R Us. Stufful's my fave of this gen. </3

They do look great, but I would have preferred it if they mixed it up and had different GX Pokemon for normal GX cards, ultra rare full art GX and secret rare Rainbow GX cards, instead of having the same 12 Pokemon in three different variants. Then again, I do love my secret rare Charizard that I got out of a booster box.

I managed to get the ToysRUs Stufful promo. My dad and step mom went to get it for me since I was at work.

They apparently joked about how the card was for a " big kid" but I have no shame. :p Really loving the holo on it.
