My off-the-cuff thoughts are that this is fairly balanced. I intend to construct this team in the actual game, so it's a bit limited by that, but not absurdly so. I'm concerned with a real lack of walling power, but I like Miltank over Blissey even with that concern.

I'm most tied to the top two on the list...I really like the opening Azelf and Miltank. I'm not tied to anybody else on the list, I haven't invested any time on this team or anything, yet.

Thoughts?

*Because Ice Beam is illegal. Whoops.

Like I always say I'm not too great with rating OU teams but right off the bat, I can see that Azelf has Ice Beam.. you can only use HP Ice on an Azelf, it doesn't get Ice Beam. I think only Mesprit does in that trio.

I believe he was talking about why Abomasnow is there and the rest are not Hail-immune Pokémon. Abomasnow's ability will be disadvantageous to your team as it destroys your Azelf's Focus Sash and negates the Leftovers recovery of half of your team.

Whee~, that's from when I was using Mesprit, must've just assumed...and yeah. As for Abomasnow, yeah, I mainly looked at it from a "let's screw over Tyranitar" point of view, not really in its own right.

Poliwrath is much better for kicking Tyranitar's Trash, but thats besides the point.

For a special sweeper, I recommend

Manectric @ Life Orb
Thunder-Bolt
Flamethrower
HP Fire
Signal Beam/Ice Fang

This is the set I run, and it rapes Tyranitars and sweeps most other thigns

Manectric beats Tyranitar? o_O How? It can't switch in on them and I don't see any of those moves OHKOing it...

If you want to use something to beat Tyranitar, I recommend Scizor with Rain Dance. As crazy as it sounds, Brick Break, Bullet Punch, and X-Scissor do a ton of damage to it, and all of them would after a Swords Dance. In fact they might all OHKO with just a Life Orb. It has good Defense and it is immune to sandstorm, so it can switch in on it with ease. After you get rid of Tyranitar, you can fire off a Rain Dance in order to not only get rid of the sandstorm, but also to soften Scizor's Fire weakness. Of course you'd have to find some way to make the rain fit on your team, because it's going to weaken Azelf's Flamethrower and Dusknoir's and Miltank's (if you use it on her) Fire Punch. Dusknoir really needs Pain Split anyway, and Azelf can use HP Ice... Scizor's not the best user of Rain Dance but it CAN use it, and I don't see why it couldn't work.

Now that I think about it, you might try using Rain Dance while Scizor's facing Tyranitar because unless it has a Fire move you can get rid of the sandstorm while Tyranitar switches/attacks with no problem. In fact most of the time Scizor's going to outspeed Tyranitar so if you go ahead and use it you might be able to take a Fire Punch/MAYBE a Flamethrower.

With edits; need input on a special sweeper, though. I think that's what's best for slot #6.

Vaporeon (Bold); 188HP/252Def/68SpA @ Leftovers
Roar
Surf
Substitute
Baton Pass/Wish

Lucario (Adamant); 4HP/252Atk/252Spe @Salac Berry
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Extremespeed

Dragonite (Rash); 112Atk/200SpA/196spe @ Life Orb
Superpower
Dragon Pulse
Flamethrower
Roost

For Slot #6: Preferably something not incredibly standard, but still highly viable.

Edit: Maybe Houndoom?

Crunch over Stone Edge on Lucario for the rarely resisted Fight/Dark attack combo. I also suggest Life Orb over Salac since I doubt Luke will be able to get down to 25% HP to activate it without being killed off.

Houndoom@Salac Berry
Modest
Flash Fire
4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
- Flamethrower
- Dark Pulse
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot

Make sure your HP is divisible by 4 at level 100.

Wait, correct me if I'm wrong here, but wouldn't you want it one more than divisible by four? You only need to get down to 1/3 to activate Salac Berry, so that shouldn't matter. On the other hand, this should allow you to make four substitutes with 1 HP remaining or three substitutes after Stealth Rock damage.

Actually, the pinch berries activate when the owner has 1/4 of their HP, not 1/3. If you had a HP that's one more than a multiple of four, you would need to use Substitute until you have 1 HP in order to get the berry boost:

289 HP = 217 HP (Either through using Substitute or Stealth Rock damage) = 145 HP = 73 HP (The berry won't activate since 73/289 is greater than 1/4) = 1 HP

In contrast, if the HP was divisible by 4:

288 HP = 216 HP (Either through using Substitute or Stealth Rock damage) = 144 HP = 72 HP (The berry will activate since 72/288 is equal to 1/4)
