Alright, so with my game coming in a few days, I'm planning who I want to use.

I originally wanted Pocchama, but I figured that I'll get to see it and I'm not too thrilled with its moveset.

So right now, this is kinda what I'm thinking.

Hikozaru ()
- Ember/Flame Wheel/394 (Fire Physical 15/100/120 + ?)
- Mach Punch/Infight
- Taunt/Fury Swipes/Fire Spin/Slack Off
- H8

Korinku (KLINK)
- Spark/Discharge (Elec Special 15/100/80)
- Bite/Crunch (Dark Physical 15/100/80)
- H4
- H6

Donkrow (DNKRW)
- Wing Attack (Fly Physical 30/100/60)
- 400 (Dark Physical 15/100/70)
- H2
- H5

Yukikaburi (YETI)
- 452 (Grass Physical 15/100/120 + 1/3 Damage)
- Ice Punch
- Ingrain
- H1

Doomiraa (SHINY)
- Extrasensory (Psy Special 30/100/80)
- TM91 (Steel Special 10/100/80)
- Confuse Ray
- Gyro Beam (???)

Toritodon (SLUGY)
- Water Pulse/H3
- Hidden Power/Dig (Ground P 10/100/80)/Earthquake?
- Muddy Water/H7/Recover
- Body Slam

I'm making some assumptions about the HMs.

Also, does anyone know what Gyro Beam is? I see it in Doomiraa's move list (Lv. 35), but I don't know what number it is to compare it to the list of moves. Is it TM91? I really don't know.

As far as the multiple moves, I did that because I'm planning on deleting some moves early on with others later in the game, as I get to them.

I really don't want a Toritodon, but I don't see any other way to get both Water and Ground without using something old.

Please recall that I don't do much link battling, this is an IN-GAME team, and that I need to use all the HMs (I think). I am willing to make changes, but I must have Donkrow. I'd LIKE Yukikaburi and Doomiraa, but it's not life or death. The rest are just trying to fill the gaps.

And if any moves I have are illegal (mainly HMs), of course, changes will have to be made.

Thanks for any input.

You really don't need to worry too much about advanced movesets to get through the game (maybe for the Battle Tower and stuff).

Hell, I always go through all my games using like only attacking moves (this time, however, I'm gonna go for strategy)

BTW, what version you getting, as Donkaras is Diamond only.

I know. That's why I'm so gleeful that I got Diamond.

My Yahoo! name isn't Murky_Krow for nothing. =P

I'm not looking for strategy, but just for like thoughts on its balance and stuff. Any ideas on better moves and the like. Nothing too fancy.

Just a head's up. Discharge is special, not physical.

I'm really annoyed because it's looking more and more that I'll have to either take the damn fire monkey or shark up a Magby or Vulpix for a fire type. Oh well.

The Grass/Fire/Water/Flying/Electric/Ground team that has carried me through Pokemon will be just fine.

I'm thinking Empelt, Yukinoo, Rentoraa, Beequeen, Rampard, and Skutank for my team. Not sure on what moves, except I definately want Flamethrower on Skutank.

I'm gonna go with Naetle, Bippa, Mukkuru, Korobooshi, Nyaruuma, and probably Korinku for the early part of the game.

Anyone got some good movesets I should teach them (including what their evos learn?)

Dunno about movesets, but I think I have my team worked out. I'm going with, Naetle's line (omfg final evo looks like it could shit out a forest) , Korinkus line, Neorantu or something else for my water type, Fuwaraido (it's WTF-worthy), Fukamaso line (also PWNAGE), and i'll go without a fire type until i can transfer over my favourite little trooper, Camerupt. And forgive me for being a n00b, but it WILL have Wi-Fi trading yes?

Movesets will come as they come. I'm not much of a battler (it would help if I had someone to battle with), so my movesets are good for in-game play and reek for anything else.

My final team, though...

* Goukazaru (My Starter, no questions about it. Monkeys need love too! And it could go through half the Elite Four's Pokemon in two seconds.)
* Dokurog (a must for a poison dart frog lover like myself.)
* Mr. Mime (it's time I used him, really. Besides, Manene!)
* Masukippa (I need a Grass type, and I'm a shameless fangirl.)
* Tentacruel/Floasel/Tritodon (my team's already got a weakness to Psychic, so Floasel might be better than Tentacruel. Then again, if I go with Tritodon, I'll cover all my Ground-y needs and Fire will be twice as useless against me. But I need an Ice Beamer and Tentacruel is such a good one...)
* Donkarasu/Skutank/Dorapion/Gaburiasu (A Dark Type is needed for the Psychic Elite, most definitely. Either that or I could just train a powerful Gaburiasu that could defeat the entire Elite Four with its bizarre arms tied behind its back. We'll see how lazy I'll be once I get the game.)

Rentoraa and Mukkuhawk will probably serve as backups.
