So we know they're back. But by the looks of things there's two different sections: The old Plasma (which are the medieval-themed ones), who also seem to be joined by (one of) the Sages, Anthea and Concordia. Then there's the new Plasma, who look like some sort of military-type outfit.

Here's a screen of old in BW2:

And a screen of new (plus their new look in another):

So, discuss what you think could happen/has happened!

We've had two "evil" teams before, but not like this. Maybe the old one is reformed and the new one is continuing?

Like I said before, I think there will be two factions.
One, the Grey Plasma led by the Six Sages with Anthea & Concordia. They'll search N.
The other, led by Gethis with the Shadow Triad. I also expect Akuroma to be the leader as N was in BW.
N is the only one can resolve the plot.

Maybe the four in the different costumes could be like the rocket executives? As in, the toughest of Team Plasma?

Maybe the old Plasma still follows Ghetsis or looks for N? And maybe the new one is to go find Ghetsis and bring him to justice.... I just really wanna see N, I'm so excited. XD

Maybe the five in the different costumes could be like the rocket executives? As in, the toughest of Team Plasma?
Why five? There are three of them. But since of them has a Metagross, it is safe to say that they are admins. They may not be stronger than the Shadow Triad are, though.

Something awesome is going on.

It's also great to see Anthea and Corcodia back, I bet they know where N's location is. I hope they get a larger role much like most of us anticipated them to, otherwise their introduction and presence in the BW intro would have been pointless.

And yes, totally digging the black Plasma.

Oops, I meant the four new ones. But yeah, perhaps they're to replace the sages or something, as they were rather easy to beat in B/W.

I'm wondering if the cross on their hats has something to do with Metagross. Perhaps the one with Metagross is in charge..?

The Grey Team plasma has thoses cross marks too.

And the 4 in black aren't just admins/executives, the entire team is dressed in black now. The 3 with the masks do seem to be admins though, as the regular bunch of Plasma grunts have orange hair, as per usual. For the story, anything could happen really, but the most interesting bit is how they're gonna fit Kyurem and the dragons into it. Its the first time we're getting the mascot legends have their mythos extended not just through a 3rd game extension, but instead by giving em a bigger and better role with the "leader" of the group. They could have it go down any way they feel like it, and it could give us a story that would go great in extending Unova's backround.

I wonder why the sages were released from prison so soon? Surely their diabolical plans would have gotten them locked up for longer. Have they gained control of Unova's police force?

They may not be stronger than the Shadow Triad are, though.

Since when the Shadow Triad is strong?

Since they are quite clearly admins/highly ranked within Plasma and not just some lowly grunts. They're Ghetsis's lieutenants/right-hand men, they're not going to have a Patrat and a Sandile are they?

We never even saw them with a Pokémon in-game, so there is no reason to think they are that strong.

The point is: We never saw them with Pokémon. If they really have Pokémon (they may do in B2W2, considering the promotional video), I guess they will not have weak ones, but we can't assume they are the strongest "grunts" in Team Plasma. I think you got my point.

But the point is: Ghetsis trusted them over all others, they were his second in command. They had their high position in Plasma for a reason. Do you think someone like Ghetsis - the leader of an organisation - would put all his faith into three people who, just because we never saw their pokemon, are weak individuals?

I think you got my point.

I think you're missing mine.

Nope, I got your point, Ghetsis trusting three random men with no Pokémon would make no sense.
But yet, assuming they are the strongest trainers in Team Plasma may not be the smartest thing to do.

Anyways, strong or not, I hope we manage to fight them in Black and White 2 in a Triple Battle.
