They seem to get some of the most development in the show, especially James.

And since Hoenn, we've been seeing more and more of their other sides come out.

(the Mime Jr. episode, Orienteering, Pokeringer, Aipom vs. Pachirisu, Poached Ego, Spontaneous Combushken)

I'm glad with how the writers handle them mostly. They're easily, I think, some of the best characters the shows got.

Team Rocket easily are the best thing about the anime. And they always have been. They have the best characters, best character development, have the best episodes and the best scenes and are by far the the most entertaining part of the entire series.

The anime would be barely worth watching without them.

They are great characters, but it does depend on the epsiode.

In some episodes they're comedic genius, while in others they seem tacked-in on either the middle or the end just to create some conflict in the episode.

One good thing about them is despite being in the show for such a long time, they've managed to keep their personalities in tact and not become boring mundane versions of their former selves. You can't say the same for some of the other characters.

But yeah, it does depend on the episode. Some eps they're great in, others they seem to be a waste of time. TR are always useless in the Gym battle episodes, and take up way too much time out of what could be used for battle-screentime.

I do like Jessie's involvement in Contests though, even though she loses 99% of the time its nice to see her trying to succeed at something for once.

Wonder how many they've blasted off during the whole anime? And don't rule out saying the motto...

I really like them.

Jessie, James, and Meowth *are* some of the best characters on the show, I just wish that we got to see more of the *other* Team Rocket as real villians on the show. That's what I liked so much about Johto.

It's always funny when J,J,&M botch up the plans of their evil team-mates.

Eh, they're ok (I mostly just like Kojirou), but anymore I kinda wish they'd just leave. Episodes where they try and get something through different means than some stupid machine (the recent Pachirisu and Aipom episodes with Musashi for example) are entertaining, but usually those don't happen. Either I wish the writers would do a bit more with them or stop trying to shove them into every episode out there. Sometimes they're a life saver to the show, other times...there's just no friggin point for them to even be in the anime.

Originally I use to love Musashi and Kojirou, but now I really don't care.

I heart them.

Heck, I cosplay 'em and write about them. All of them.

Although, yes. It would be nice to see some more of the obscure ones. Maybe if we had more Sebastian on the show, more people would embrace my pairing... Also, I'd kill to see Mondo.

They can be a great way to take a pause from the action in some Gym episodes. Don't forget the build-up to DP017 either.

But back in Kanto, that was probably when they messed up Gyms the most.

Most people's favorite Gyms are Surge's and Blaines (the Magmar vs. Charizard), which are one where they didn't interupt.

Mondo would totally have more fans than any other character on the show. They would have to make a spin-off called The Mondo Show.

Because he's so cuddly...

I'm wondering, though. What would The Mondo Show be like?

And large amounts of fans don't necessarily mean anyone cares... I've never met a Pokemon fan, Team Rocket or otherwise, who didn't like Domino. And do you know what I'd do for a Domino spinoff?

And it's nice to see you back, Azurill.

I don't like Domino...

*shot*

Kidding!

For random Rocket Characters, I always like Namba for some reason. He had that Eggman vibe going on (EVOLVE YOUR ELECTABUZZ!)

It's good to be back. Or pushing to get that way, at least.

Everybody likes Namba. Hell, I *looooove* Namba. He's one of the funniest characters EVER.

Fishstixxxxxx

Team Rocket are awesome. <3 Like Scott said, when they appear in the episode just to solver the Pokémon of the day's conflict, they're not very entertaining. But when they're being used for slapstick, dirty comments, and showing their true personalities, they're the best parts of the entire anime.

I've met people who didn't like Domino.

I'd love an "inner workings of Team Rocket" HoSo sometime. Or a "where are they now?" thing about a certain former Viridian Gym Leader where it becomes painfully obvious to everyone except the reporter what he's *really* doing.

That'd be pretty funny, actually.

I think everyone pretty much knows about my thoughts on what they should do with the Himeno manga..

I adore Jessie, James, and Meowth. I don't really care for the other members. The trio's the main reason why I watch the show as much as I do. They're great characters all around.
