I am looking for a team to use on my diamond game and i want to include my Arcanine and Torterra and i do not want to use legendries i can obtain any pokemon so if anyone has any suggestions i would really aprreciate

Then it looks like you're going to want a BL team. The Smogon list of BL is completely gone, but I'm reasonably convinced that Arcanine and Torterra will make their way back onto that list.

Slowking would be a good addition. Torterra for the physical tank/wall, and Slowking is there for special bulk (Plus, it's really awesome!). Lesse, what else... Umbreon would be good if you want to annoy stuff (Toxicstall) and/or provide Wish support. Espeon can Baton Pass some Calm Minds and/or Substitutes (Even a Salac Berry boost if you want to try that) to stuff on your team and give you some extra support. It really doesn't have much place on your team with Torterra hanging around but... I really just love Tangrowth. Seriously, it's awesome.

These are just a few things that I think are going to get back into BL, so it might not even work out. Once Smogon gets their BL list back up, I can help out a lot more.

Thanks for that

What do you think of Blastoise as a water pokemon or do you think that with Torterra having to pokemon with high defense and low speed will be pushing it?

Also i thought about using crobat as a flyer because it is pretty fast?

Are you going for a turtle theme? :p If you are, then yeah, go ahead and use it, but don't forget about Torkoal! But like you said, since they're both leaning towards the defensive side, I'd use Slowking, or a BL-or-under Water-type bulky on the SpD side.

Crobat's a good choice. It would make an excellent lead for you.

what are some good moves for slowking to have apart from psychic and does he learn hydro pump?

It doesn't learn Hydro Pump. I know it learns Calm Mind and Slack Off. You can either use Slack Off or Rest/Sleep Talk. Slack Off is one-turn recovery, but Rest/Sleep Talk not only always restores you to 100% health, but it also eliminates any status problem. The thing about the RestTalk combo is you're only allowed two other moves to either help you or mess with the opponent, and Sleep Talk CAN choose Rest again. Personally, I'd go with Calm Mind/Surf/Ice Beam/Slack Off. Of course it has other options, like Light Screen, Thunder Wave, Grass Knot, Hidden Power, the increasingly popular Trick (Trick an Iron Ball onto an opponent and watch them squirm), Yawn...

also what is a good pokemon for contests because i havent won i contest yet an i probably should

Any pokemon can be good in contests. You just have to dress it up well (what always gets me, but just feed it a lot of poffins in whatever category you want to enter it in, ie. sweet poffins for a cute category), have an ok sense of rhythm, and use moves well.

well you want to make it balanced so maybe Toterra, Arcanine, Lapras, Gengar, Aggeron, and Ampharos. idk thats my basic team exept toterra is Sceptile and Arcanine is a charzard

Thats a pretty good team except that i would need i flying type or someone that can learn fly

I honestly just have to ask...

...is this ingame or competitive? Seriously, if its ingame, why do you want input on who to use? Use your favorites. Even in competitive battles, I'd tell you to use some of your favorites and use other Pokemon to support it.

To be brutaly honest, if you couldn't think up a team for yourself, you really aren't going to be that great with a team someone else gives you.

If its just for in game, you really dont need to worry about anything except pure attacking power.

For example, my in game team that I beat the Elite Four with was:

Garchomp
Dragonite
Empoleon
Lucario
Dialga (i do use legends to help beat the game)
Alakazam

Pretty much all sweepers...

So basically, just use your favorites and don't worry too much about balancing your team in terms of roles (tank, annoyer, sweeper etc.). But do make sure to have good type coverage. That's the only really important thing for in game.
