WORK IN PROGRESS!!!!!
ok, I am trying to work on a good ubers team using a starceus core.
No Weather Version.
Lead:
Mew @ Light Clay
Jolly
252 attack 252 hp 4 speed
Light Screen
Reflect
U-turn
Baton Pass
Ok, lets see how this does against these leads
Deoxys can do about 19% with extremespeed, and less with superpower, so it will taunt probably. Mew can then u-turn, doing about 60%. Other pokémon can come and kill it then without to much trouble.
Groudon can give mew a status condition, on eq, both of which mew should be able to get up reflect. Mew then can get light screen assuming it does not roar, and then explode, dealing about 90%, making it easy to kill as well.
Darkria. You can go for a u-turn if the darkria tries to trick, or you can hope to have dark void miss and u-turn anyway. Or you can just switch out.
Shaymin's Air slash will typically 3hkos, so you can try to u-turn or explode, light screen and do one of those, or just plain switch.
Deoxys-A focus sash lead cannot do anything damaging, so you can set up screens and u-turn.
Thunder wave kyorge cannot ohko mew, even with hydro pump, letting mew get up a screen of it's choice and explode for the ko.
Dialga leads cannot score super effective damage, and mew can survive 2 draco meteors if you use light screen, Mew cannot really damage back though, making it have to explode and do about 50% or just switch.
Other mews will probably taunt, letting you u-turn for about 1/3 of their hp.
Arceus @ lefties
bold
252 hp 252 special d 4 def
ice beam
charge beam
recover
cosmic power
basically the idea is to cosmic power, recover, cosmic power, cosmic power, recover ect. You then get almost un-resisted coverage with ice beam and charge beam, allowing to take down almost any threats, such as max sp. a kyogre, groudon not roaring, raquaza, shaymin, and almost any pokémon you can think of if there is no crit. hits. Name almost any poké, and it can beat it. Question, should I use a shaymin so I can lucky chant?
Heracross @ Choice Scarf
jolly
252 speed 252 attack 4 hp
sleep talk
close combat
megahorn
stone edge
this is basically my darkria counter. Stone edge deals with ho-ohs, close combat and megahorn are just there for stab. Those moves combined have a great chance of killing darkria. This is just so my mew doesn't get massacured by darkria.
Celebi @ lum berry
serious/timid, (depending on the event nature)
252 hp 252 speed 4 def
nasty plot
substitute
energy ball
baton pass
(this is from smogon, and some other ones are too).
This celebi is based to baton pass after getting +2 special attack and a sub. Thsi celebi has max speed so it can try to out-speed taunters, to either get a sub up, baton pass to a counter, or nasty plot so you can hit back, HARD. A double damage stab energy ball can take out some pretty tough stuff. This thing tries to actually lure out a fire type attack to pass to........
Hearan @ leftovers
timid
252 speed 252 sp. attack 4 hp
flamethrower
earth power
substitute
HP Grass
This is what can destroy stuff. It has great coverage and can out-pace many things, 1hko them, and even set up a new substitute when nessesary. For the most part, it will just sweep and recover with leftovers, May switch to life orb.
This team is really shaky.
