I noticed that here there are no sprite comics. Now, I know that sprite comics are tacky, technically plagiarism, and not regarded as actual art, but I was once a sprite comiceer. This was long ago, of course, back when Nsider was still existent.
My sprite comic back then was called Slowbro's Opinion, and my name was SlowbroPat. It started as three panel strips with no plot, then slowly a plot began to evolve, and near the end, when the three panels had become nine panels, the plot was peaking toward a climax.
However, sadly, Nisder ended, and I never did get to make that climax.
Nevertheless, i continued spriting, and my skills grew, if you can even say that about a non-art. I tried several failed comics, even one to parallel Danny Teach, but then one day, a little while after joining Bulbagarden, I created the first of what I like to think of as my best comic. I actually checked the spelling on these, and stopped pasting the group as a group and started pasting individually. The plot, I thought at least, was rather good, and I liked it, so, here it is.

This sprite comic follows the lives a Trainer's battling team, as they train and capture new members. There are three main characters at the beginning, and it grows to six by the the fifth issue.

I present to you the first, in two parts becuase my image host sucks.

It show potential I guess, but there are no sprite comics for a reason. They're like GMOD movies. Everyone does them and they get old quickly. You've gotta have a unique concept if you want people to take interest.

There are also some minor spelling errors in there. And might I suggest using different colours for different characters voices? Half the time it gets confusing because there is seemingly one big block of black text.

Despite these little things, it's still a better comic than most I've seen in my time here.

Good style. Multiple punchlines is always a nice touch, and good concept of how a fish pokemon would actually fight (seriously, I find that hard to imagine >_>).

I used to do a sprite comic myself, and it really helps to have text in different colors. Other than that, I think you're good.

I never really liked color-coded dialogue, but I'll try it out in #8 (I've already made up to 7).

Glad you liked how I made George III:D I never got how they fought either.

Nice, loved the ending of #6 "Mom? Dad?" ROLMAO!

Off topic, what happen to the Danny Teach story you where doing? I personally liked it... alot.

I wanted t see him beat down that trainner with the Jynx he saw on T.V. in the first chapter.

Nice. And yay! a fellow Nsider! I was HAMTARO4EVER on there. Though I mostly lurked on the Darkening of Courage fanfiction thread, so you likely never saw me.

I'm working on it. I lost my steam for awhile, but I have figured out what I'm going to do and am currently working on the second half of Chapter 28, Rusty Hips and Hairy Lips. Expect to see that up sometime next week, and Teams are a Changing will not be without it's cameos from a certain funky pirate.

@ Aki: Same to you! I've been on the prowl for members since it deactivated!

I've reverted to all black font again, against your (still good!) advice. It might work for some people, but it seems so...tacky to me.

Ironic, eh? Tacky in a sprite comic:D

I still can't get over the Gulpin scene in #9

Trainer: GUNK SHOT!
Lickilicky: WTF?
Gulpin: BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

I actually was making her use Hyper Beam, but then found out Gulpin can't learn Hyper Beam, so...:D

Just read the latest chapter and all I have to say is, "Heh heh...Bush."

Lol, so many 'erries' and 'arries'
And Hilda is LOL in number 9.

I like the concept of a trainer and their pokemon being able to communicate, and giving them each unique personalities was good. Also, Lileep is a badass. Is it a Darkrai in disguise or something?
