Everyone seems to like the show, so I figure this is interesting enough to share:

Kids’ WB! on The CW adds even more punch to its action-packed Saturday morning lineup with the return of the popular animated series Teen Titans this Saturday, December 1 at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Teen Titans features five teen super heroes each with special powers. Led by Robin, this group unites to form a force to protect their teeming, sun-baked city from a new generation of villains, while coping with the challenges of adolescence. As super heroes, Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire and Raven are fully-developed, and when they work as a team, their powers are formidable. But they struggle with the typical teen challenges of sibling rivalry, taking responsibility, jealousy and fitting in with the group. Teen Titans is based on the popular DC Comics comic book characters; Emmy Award-winner Glen Murakami is producer of the series.

“This groundbreaking series has resonated with kids since its debut, and the series’ action, style and inherent humor are a perfect complement to our current broadcast lineup,” said Betsy McGowen, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Kids’ WB!

The December 1 airing will feature the first-ever episode of Teen Titans, entitled “Divide and Conquer.” Subsequent airings will not be in episodic order. To celebrate the new year, Kids’ WB! will offer a special two-part, one-hour special episode on January 5, 2008 entitled “Apprentice.”

The addition of Teen Titans will slightly alter the order of the top-rated Saturday morning kids broadcast lineup. “Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!” shifts to 8:00 a.m. ET/PT in place of repeat airings of “Tom and Jerry Tales.” The lineup will now air as follows:

7:00 AM Will & Dewitt TV-Y (E/I)
7:30 AM Magi-Nation TV-Y (E/I)
8:00 AM Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue! TV-Y7
8:30 AM Tom and Jerry Tales TV-Y
9:00 AM Skunk Fu! TV-Y7
9:30 AM Teen Titans TV-Y7 FV
10:00 AM Eon Kid TV-Y7 FV
10:30 AM Johnny Test TV-Y7
11:00 AM Legion of Super Heroes TV-Y7 FV
11:30 AM The Batman TV-Y7 FV

A leader in children’s programming, Kids’ WB! continues to be a unique destination for kids. Kids’ WB!, now airing on The CW Network, has been the broadcast home for such cornerstone hits as the blockbusters Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, Emmy® Award-winners Xiaolin Showdown and The Batman, culturally diverse series Jackie Chan Adventures and ¡Mucha Lucha! Gigante, and breakout hits Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue! and Legion of Super Heroes, among other favorites. Kids and their parents can find more information about Kids’ WB! programming online at www.KidsWB.com.

They can't be hurting for ratings, so I'm curious as to why this is happening. Maybe people just don't like two airings of Tom and Jerry (can't say I've ever been a big fan, but that's just me). Maybe this is just a placeholder until whenever Spectacular Spider-Man starts airing. Nicely random, though.

I have seasons 1-3 on DVD so I don't need to watch WB. If they want to bring TT back make new eps, not show old ones.

Maybe they're testing to see if people are still interested in it? I hope that's true, TT is an awesome show.

You know, they made season 4 and 5...
Yeah but unless they have special Saturdays with many eps then we won't get to them until spring/summer.

Geo - That's a good point, I hope that's true. If the Go! comics continued I don't see why the cartoon it derived from can't.

Comic to cartoon to comic, LOL.

Hmm, Teen Titans coming back again? How many series finales can you make before the show is well and truly over?

From what I understand from Titansgo.net, those involved enjoyed working on the show and wanted to continue. And they really should have, the show was quite popular when new episodes were still being made.

culturally diverse series Jackie Chan Adventures and ¡Mucha Lucha! Gigante

Um...what? Teen Titans is culturally diverse. Xaiolin Showdiwn is culturally diverse. But JCA has, with few exceptions, a strictly Asian cast. And I haven't seen much of Mucha Lucha, but from the commercials it seems to have a strictly Latin cast.

I think they're confusing "featuring minorities" with "diversity", which requires more than one race.

Jackie Chan had Americans, Chinese, Mexicans, and traveled all around the world.

I think they mean that KidsWB is diverse, with those shows being prime examples of shows whose main cast isn't white (unlike, you know, almost every other show out there).

Are they still going through with their plans for a Diniverse-styled Judas Contract DVD movie? That could be the reason - gear up interest once again.

Good point. I haven't read the old TT comics so itd be nice to see how that truly played out compared to the altered version in the cartoon.

I doubt it's for that, since New Frontier (the JLA movie) is coming out in January. Unless Teen Titans returning is a long-term thing (in which case I'm completely confused).

Hey you know what? Kids WB used to play Pokemon on it up until 2006, but now it comes on Cartoon Network. That's good to know that Teen Titans is coming back on it this Saturday because I stopped watching Kids WB altogether when we obtained our satellite in January. Is it even still on channel 4 if you didn't have satellite? Quite a few channels never change like the news, KVIE and PBS kids for example with the satellite. I barely even watch Teen Titans at all on Cartoon Network which was the first channel it came on before it hit Kids WB because the show is just too boring and they don't put it on there very often anymore. It rarely comes on Saturdays but there were so many Pokemon movies mostly every Saturday of the summer including my birthday.

Maybe, just maybe, they're testing the waters to do more eps. A lot of people in some other forums I frequent weren't too happy with the series' "ending" and wanted new eps. I can't blame them; I loved (and still love) TT.

Yeah, I know. It's probably just a filler/replacement show. But I can dream, can't I?

I don't want to make it sound like an insult, but the show's target audience never really want their favorite shows to end. I thought it had a fitting ending for an American Cartoon.

That said, Kids WB isn't completely not worth it. That Korean show, Eon Kid is kind of fun, and the Legion of Heroes and the Batman are also equally as good as Teen Titans.

If by ending you are referring to the single standalone episode after the finale of the season-long arc... yeah, maybe that wasn't such a good idea. They could have ended there and there after the grand battle. Which they did, in season 4. Being uncancelled after a series finale is probably not fun for the writers.
