Out of pure, sick curiosity, what is everyone doing?
My plans:
-Watch parade
-Eat
-Watch anime, maybe
-Sleep

...Yay.

I'm going to be eating dinner at my family's new house, which is on the verge of completion after a large amount of work my dad and stepmom have put into it for multiple years now. It's also so close that I could walk there and back in the span of a few minutes, so don't expect to see me vanish altogether come turkey day.

But don't come looking for me if your family needs another pie. ><*

I'm going to be going down to Virginia (in the DC area) for Thanksgiving and a whole hunk of the family is going to be there. We're staying there from Wednesday to Saturday and I'm leaving for VA tomorrow morning so I may not come by here too much.
The catch is the 5 hour car ride. My parents are too cheap for airplanes.

Plans = nothing. Most of my family is not in or near my town. So we dont really plan to do ANYTHING. I might bother to finish reading a book or two, but nothing big this year.

Plans:

Drive to Girlfriend's house at noon.
Eat with her family.
Sleep over without sleeping much.
Come home the next afternoon.

:-D God I'm so excited.

Haha, lucky bastard! >:D

Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's house, where I hope to impress people with a jack-o-lantern. Then the rest of the weekend at a science fiction convention, where I'll most likely park myself in a hallway and finish up art the entire weekend.

I'll be going to my grandmother's house and hoping that my overly-Christian relatives don't show. No one likes them, so I'm not expecting them...but they tend to show up at the worst times. Fun stuff.

Zero. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Null.

I'm not much for holidays. I...can't bring myself to be in a jubilent mood over any holiday or special day, my birthday and the birthdays of others included.

Excellent. Positively excellent. Food was possibly the best I've ever had, and we watched Batman Begins while eating cookies, ice cream, and apple pie afterwards.

Mine was good. I watched my cousin teach his 2 year old to walk around saying "I am not a crook" while doing the peace sign on both hands. Either I was REALLY bored, or that was genuinely hilarious.

This Thanksgiving I was supposed to celebrate it with my boyfriend and his family at his grandma's house, but my dad wanted me to celebrate it with my own family instead. This year we actually went to a restaurant-type place for Thanksgiving... Usually we just have it at home. I met my uncle's brother for the first time, and he was really strange and really rude to me when he found out I want to become an accountant. Over all, not a very appealing Thanksgiving for me. But I do love yams.
