That annoying banner

Actually, I agree, and not because it's new. Most people aren't used to their wikis with top banners, and I think it spoils what the left-corner stamp stands for (simplicity is best; we don't need to be reminded that Bulbagarden runs the Bulbapedia that obviously). The banner's unnecessary.

I find it asthetically unpleasing as well. It's difficult to get a proper view of the site when there's a giant banner sitting on top of it like some loafer.

My thoughts exactly. That thing in the top corner was sufficient. The banner is annoying, overlarge, egregious, visually distracting, and downright unnecessary.

i agree, while i think its clean and well made, i think its completely unnecessary on the Wiki and very intrusive overall.

GuildWiki has a little banner at the top that links to the other wikis we used to host... something simple like that is fine, if we want to make it easy to jump to the forums and whatever else. But I still don't know how many other sections of Bulbagarden there are... is it just the wiki and forums? That's all I ever use, at least. If that's it, there's no need for a banner at all. But if we wanted to make it easier to see the rest of Bulbagarden, I'd vote for just simple links. Don't distract, and it's easy to use if you want it.

a loafer is someone/something that sits around and does nothing or very little. a waste of space almost. if your Pokemon disobeys you, it can be called "loafing around" as in its not paying attention and (figuratively) strolling around.
