Post something that shouldn't happen in your game, but for some reason happened to you.

I recently reset my ruby game. I got to mauville city, and I went right to route 118. Well there's this aroma lady sittin there at the botton of the 1st ledge. I was at the top of the ledge and she saw me...
Well, she walked up the ledge to challenge me...
Wtf, how can some lady do that but I can't?

Just about everything that happens to me in battle tower shouldn't. The latest of which was this:

My team was Uxie, Scizor, Infernape... pretty standard builds for each, all EV trained, with good natures and movesets, and Infernape and Scizor have good IV's (far from perfect though). I'm as I KO'ed the opponents 1st pokemon, have SR set up. Infernape has damage on it. The opponent brings in Muk. I use Fire Blast as I have already Nasty Plot'ed. It misses, but thats not too surprising. Muk uses Poison Jab, it crit hits Infernape barely lives, it also poison me, Infernape dies between turns. I bring out Uxie, and use Yawn. Muk uses Ice Punch. It freezes me. I switch out to Scizor, and again Muk uses Ice Punch and freezes me. Muk falls asleep, but wakes up the 2nd turn, uses Fire Punch and kills me, I bring out Uxie, and it continues to uses punches until Uxie faints...

My entire OU, EV'ed, Nature, and (somewhat) IV trained team was swept by a Muk!

man that sucks but i can top it i spent 2 days chaining for a shiny beldum and i finally got to forty and saw a shiny guess what. i used false swipe until it was very weak then i put it to sleep, and you know what i was out of friken pokeballs i had nothing to catch it with. i got so mad i slamed my ds down and was lucky enough to hit a shirt that was lying in my floor.

Well, that indeed shouldn't have happened otherwise, but this particular trainer is a known design flaw in R/S. It's listed in BP as well.

I had just defeated the Elite 4 on LeafGreen and was watching the "Previously on your Quest" thingy, and when it got to the Champion Battle, I walked through my rival and past the wall even though the scene played out normally during actual game play.

Maylenes Lucario OHKO'd my Gastrodon in Diamond with Force Palm. My Gastrodon completely walls any Lucario in the game, yet someone that bitch OHKO'd it.
No crit either...just OHKO'd..I was pissed.
<_<

In XD, When I go to the outpast (aka, the train), a trainer v.s. me to a battle. I completly own him, and leave. I then remember I had to talk to someone on the trin, so I go back. I accidently talk to the trainer again, and he challenged me again.

Doesn't he know he's going to get owned again? Does a one minute training session help at all?

Well, this was almost bound to happen, but i think it counts here.
I was playing Pearl, and after a hard day of training, i raised my Fearow up to lvl 70. I left my DS on, and my lil sis wanted to see what i was playing. I let her look at it but i said, 'DO NOT touch any buttons.' And went to the toilet. I came back, and the DS was off. I turned it back on, and my Fearow was lvl 63 again...

Battle Tower is full of those. Like, once having to face a Sableye with Wonder Guard after 14 win streak. It's like CPU was hell-bent on killing you, without even giving you any chance of victory. I was lucky enough to have Sandstorm, knock out this hax with it, but the next Pokmeon still KO'd me. 16 victories gone to hell because CPU hacked a Pokemon...

i dont really remember any i played on my cartridges.
But i was playing yellow on a ROM and no cheat codes nothing and i could just go through walls o_O oh yeah and when I played gold version on a rom ,again no cheats or anything,my starter pokemon (chikorita)was faint. Even when I took it to the pokemon centre and healed it. It was still fainted.
Wait, i remember one now. I was playing pokemon gold a few months ago on my gameboy colour I was versing red my lugia used swift and instead of the high pitch noise it was like high pitch then low pitch then high pitch , i mean the sound the attack makes. Also when I was on route 29 I jumped over a ledge and it sounded in low pitch. The lugia swift glitch happened two times.

Also when I was playing Pokemon Heart Gold I was vsing falkner I used Zubat, it used leech life the first time and it was effective, after that it wasn't.
And also when it uses(I think featherdance) leech life is effective again.

She jumped, or climbed, up it, but you're too much of a scaredy cat too. Or maybe you're too short, or young.

I don't know if this is just me but in my Platinum I put the wandering Articuno to sleep.I thought I could easily catch it but immediately after it feel asleep it fled.I just thought what the heck and flew to another city, walked into a route, and saw that one of the wandering Pokemon was in the same route as I was.I walk into the grass and it attacks but then I realize this is the SAME Articuno and it is STILL ASLEEP.:banghead:
I immediately wonder how the heck does it fly around, picks a fight with me, and flees all while it is ASLEEP!!

I think this game must really hate me because after it got away I tried this with all the other Pokemon that wander Sinnoh and the same thing happened.:boom:

It's well known and meant to happen, also aids catching, weaken them in first attack -> Flees. Status effect 2nd attack -> Flees. Quick ball for all future encounters

the majority of these could go in the funny mistakes thread.
or in some glitch thread, i dont know if there actually is one now.
a couple of times i'll have forgotten slowbro's ability. confuse Ray+slowbro=NOTHING

Well at least its easy to catch it!

I was playing my Yellow game just now, taking on the Elite Four for the nth time, and I had three instances of 'hax'.'

The first instance was when I was battling Lance. My Moltres against his Dragonair (the first one). He missed with Thunderbolt twice in a row. (For those of you who don't know, because of the way chances are calculated in Gen I, supposedly 100% accurate moves actually have a 1/256 chance of missing.)

The second instance was when I decided (for fun) to let my Onix sweep the last two Pokémon on my rival Gary's team with Rage. He never uses his Ninetales properly against Pokemon resistant to his attacks and all he did was spam Confuse Ray. I got hurt by confusion so many times in a row it wasn't funny. The third instance was after I defeated Ninetales and he sent out Jolteon. Since I had used Harden to maximise my defense, I thought I would have an easy Rage sweep here. But no, Jolteon got a critical hit the three times he used Pin Missile and knocked out Onix. I owned him anyway with my other Pokémon anyway, but still, that was bad luck.

Surfing Moltres and running from Mewtwo in Blue. And then saving.

Well, I'm trying to EV train my Sandshrew, but I keep running into damned Snubbull that are swarming today rather than the Bibarel I need. After not being able to escape from one and it KO'ing Sandshrew, I press the button to flee, but it says that 'the wild Snubbull fled'! What?
