What is the most idiotic thing you or someone else has done in a battle, wether it be a wifi match, a battle against a normal trainer, a boss or in a freindly match?

Heres mine:
In Battle revolution (ITS A GOOD GAME GODDAMNIT!) I sent out my slaking with giga impact and the opponent sends out a gardevoir. i am about to use Giga impact when for SOME REASON WHATSOEVER, the gardevoir uses skill swap to swap truant with her ability trace. meaning that trace wouldve already given gardevoir truant. yea, stupid i know. at least i won.

So whats your story?

On Pokemon Online, you'd be amazed how many people set up entry hazards... On my Multiscale Dragonite, while it sets up with Dragon Dance. After being allowed to max my Attack and Speed, I proceed to sweep with extreme prejudice.

I once used a fire attack on Heatran.

Out of others in triple battle the guy who used Dig while I had Gyarados,Gliscor and Hydreigon on my side of the field, two of them knowing Earthquake.

A fire attack while it was out, or did you just mispredict on a switch-in?

I wonder which of your Pokemon he was trying to hit with Dig, and how he didn't see EQ coming. XD

Fire attack while it was out. Epic fail on my side. The Dig guy was trying to hit Gyarados. Also the Umbreon which used Dig and managed to survive EQ proceeded to Quick Attack Gyarados for abysmall damage.

I have to wonder why he targeted Gyarados with Dig. And, if it was bulky enough to survive an EQ from Gyarados while underground, you have to also wonder why he didn't go for either Payback (figuring it would be hit by something) or Curse + Quick Attack.

Well, i guess some people arnt the best stratigists. i know im not unless i have a team im really fammiliar with (Which is why i hate the neon colluseum in battle revolution)

Even the best strategists are prone to making mistakes. They're human, after all. But trying to hit a Water/Flying-type with a Ground-type move isn't bad strategy; it's bad play, since it's a commonly known fact that Ground moves can't touch Flying-types (unless they use Roost, you use Gravity or they have an Iron Ball). It's one of the better known type immunities in Pokemon.

Random matchup. Some person used Rock Slide on my Excadrill. And the pokemon that used it was Machamp. Derp.

Some kid I was battling had his Dialga use Flash Cannon on my Scizor. Obviously, that didn't turn out well for Dialga. ;D

^ I do that from time to time. =.=;; And I basically use the wrong moves a lot. xD Last battle I had I used dark pulse on a hitmonlee. =w=;;

In Gen4 Battle Factory, the opponent's last pokemon was Poliwrath, and it only had 1HP left (seemingly so). I had my Milotic use Surf on the Poliwrath for epic fun... and it absorbed it.

...fail

Many times in Pokemon Online, I would mindlessly Thunder Wave Pokemon I already gave a status. Also, in the Battle Subway, I would often use my sand team. I would first send out Tyranitar. Once I see a Pokemon able to use a Water move I would often switch to Gastrodon and keep another teammate weak to Water. Idiotically, my opponent just keeps using the same Water move turning Gastrodon into a bulky sweeper.

Pretty much every time I mispredict with Explosion in Doubles.

One time I took a risk and Exploded without Protecting with the second Pokemon, knowing full well that it will kill them both. Both of the opponent Pokemon used Protect.

Yeah.

Speaking of Protect... that reminds me of one time on the Battle Subway when someone sent out a Garchomp running some sort of defensive set with Earthquake as its only attack, with a bunch of status moves like Protect. Considering 2/3 of my team was immune to Ground-type moves, I had a field day then.

More of a pre-battle thing, I know, but still mind-bogglingly weird to see a mono-attack Chompy.

I was playing on Battle Revolution against someone with hacked shiny Rayquaza and Arceus. On my team were a Staraptor and an event Darkrai. It was a level 50 battle. I could have won if I had used Staraptor's Close Combat on Arceus and either Darkrai's Spacial Rend or Roar of Time on Rayquaza. Did I think to do either of those things? Did I heck. Of course, I was flattened.

Hahaha, that Gardevoir thing. What happened to me was that I forgot to take my Rocky Helmet off when I battled Reshiram and it killed itself u_u

And no, Battle Revolution is not a good game. It sucks.
