The legends tell of a great Flashbang war, a battle so great that the very Earth we stand on was broken apart and the fabric of reality was fractured just enough to allow the power we all dwell on to seep in...
Of course, many believe that's just a children's tale. This great war must have been so long ago for none to remember, and the monumental ruins left behind by the ancestor race must have been created with some kind of power... I mean, they're too terrifyingly big to have been built by anything else. Those without powers, the children and the old ones could not build something like that....
WORLD
CLASSES
All Classes can use magic, although in different ways.
Classes can be changed at any time, although MultiClassing, where you can have two classes at once, does decrease the power you can invest in each Class.
SIGN UP FORM
Of course, many believe that's just a children's tale. The world is much the same in terms of Geography, although the population is much smaller. There are not great cities, as it benefits the people to live closer to nature. Following the war, all humans that survived found they could tap into the magical power that seeped in, although some more than others, and only from a certain age...
The RP will take place in North America, with many of the old cities destroyed or altered beyond recognition. Much of the population lives in the mountains, or on the Great Plains.
The Guild itself is a place for wannabe-adventurers to gather and train, located in the meadowy foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and take upon Quests in order to further their skills, and help their fellow man. All Classes are welcome, and Teams are formed with a good balance of all Classes. Teams can be formed for single quests, or multiple, or even for life, and Teams may band together to assist each other with difficult Quests...

The Warrior's proficiency in weaponry can be further enhanced by Magic, although they generally specialise in close combat.
They use such weapons and equipment as swords, shields, armour and axes.
SHADE
The Shade can use their power to wrap darkness around themselves, and camoflage into the backdrop to dodge enemies.
Their stealth advantage can be negated by excessive noise however, so most Shades keep to light armour and knives, shruiken and other small weapons.
LIGHT MAGE
The Light Mage has little offensive power, although can use the power they possess to heal members of their Team, and protect them with Magical Barriers.
The Light Mage prefers the robes of their Class, and a staff can be used to channel their Magic.
DARK MAGE
The Dark Mage has little defensive power, although can be a strong offensive fighter. They use elemental attacks, sent from afar, to inflict damage.
The Dark Mage prefers the robes of their Class, and a spellbook to channel their Magic.
KNIGHT
The Knight is gifted with a natural proficiency for horsecraft, and uses this to his advantage in battle. Their weapon of choice is a lance, although heavy armour is unwise on a horse, and such the Knight must wear lighter armour, and trust on his horse's speed to win the day.
RANGER
The Ranger is a long-distance fighter, focusing on using a gift of keen sight and quick reflexes to pick off enemies from afar.
Their weapons of choice are bows, crossbows and the like, prefering lighter armour to improve their agility.
